You hate the Texans because? of what? Their logo? Their stadium naming rights? Bob Mcnair's ugly suits? They're on 610 and not 740? ABC 13 has coverage and not KRIV FOX? You wanted a dome only stadium? Of course they're not related, and will never be related. That's why folks are butt sensitive about it. If they're not related, what's the purpose in trashing the Texans? You guys are sooo mean to Vincent, so I hope the Texans suck. That's what I got out of it.

It really is simple. Vince Young was a great college QB. He sucks at the NFL. No matter how many UT honks want to spin it, he just flat out sucks. Too much of a crybaby to handle NFL pressure. Go run away and pout on the sideline and disappear with a loaded gun again Vince. UT homers should get it through their heads, I know y'all had a lot invested in him when you dumped the Texans and went back to the Titans so you could continue your mancrush, but its been 5 years now... admit you backed the wrong pony and shut the **** up.
I don't think most UT/VY fans are delusional. I am fans of VY because I went to UT when for a 2 year period VY was the one of the best college football players, and had one greatest single game performances I have seen, So I root for the guy to do well. Are you going to stop rooting for the rockets if they suck? Did you stop rooting for Hakeem when he went to Toronto?
I show up to an average of 35 Rocket home games per year for the last two or three years. And we've sucked. Feel free to question my Rockets fan hood. It's hard watching your heroes stumble around. It sucks when their talent has eroded. I didn't switch allegiance to the Raptors just because he was my favorite player, or hero. I'll cheer for what's on the front of the jersey, and not what's on the back.
I hope Vince turns it around like Vick did. Vince didn't go to prison or engage in illegal dog fighting, he only led the University of Texas to a national championship. Apparently some people didn't like that . I didn't know we had so many USC fans here.

You put some people who never played or started in the NFL. That's like the Tmac fans mentioning his name in a sentence or page or book or planet or universe or parallel universe near Michael Jordan. Also you mentioned other universities that aren't in Texas. There's only one University in Texas that won a national championship recently with a Houston kid. It's not UH, they'll never win one. Rice? That wouldn't even happen on a video game. A&M? they joined the freaking SEC, now they're going to get their ass kicked all over the map. TCU ? they have a good chance The people who hate VY and McCoy and Benson etc, they just hate UT. That's my opinion. VY won games in the nfl and his story isn't over, we'll see how he does with the Eagles.

I don't hate McCoy, Benson, Jamaal Charles, or Kevin Durant. It was a reaction to the UT fans hating on the Texans for not drafting VY then going back to being Bud Adams fans and claiming that they had "been Titans fans the whole time." The fake Vince Young should be easy to spot though. He'll be the one diligently studying the playbook and putting in extra hours of film study.
Turns it around like Vick? They don't belong in the same sentence. Vick was/is a superstar and has talent VY can only dream of. Vick was perhaps the most dynamic player in the NFL when he crashed landed. Comparing Vince to Vick is silly and unfair because he doesn't have that kind of ability. Take the glasses off. For the record: I loved Vince at UT. Before him, I was ambivalent to negative about UT football. His last two years there won me over. He was a joy to watch. The comeback against Oklahoma State his next to last year ranks in my top 10. I still can't believe the 2nd half. But some of you guys that love Vince no matter what have to understand everyone else doesn't hate him. What bothers people most is the loopy homerism that refuses to acknowledge how flawed he is. I find it bizarre and feel you are just as unbalanced as the real "haters".
