My QBs are roflburger and manning. I don't have an extra roster spot, but sex cannon and orton are both available... who are seemingly set up for bigger statistical years, even if their teams don't do well.
Yeah, maybe you're right...but I would expect greater variation from Rex and Orton than Eli, though Eli probably will have a lower average. Given that you should probably start Ben over any of those 3 every week (imo), I'd probably keep Eli as a reliable backup if you end up needing it? Or see who has the best matchup in Ben's bye week Also, in theory, Orton won't have a huge year. If and when Moreno is back, you would think John Fox will lean on the running game more..
I'm being offered Felix Jones and Devery Henderson for James Starks. Should I do it? I'm leaning towards no, since I don't like Henderson long-term and Felix Jones is already hurt. Assuming my Tate for Mike Williams trade isn't blocked, I already have: RB: Rice/McFadden/Hightower/Starks/D. Williams WR: Wayne/Jackson/M. Williams/A.J. Green/Branch I also have Burress, but have him in a waiver for Daniel Thomas (Doubt I get him) and for Fred Davis.
o would rather have Starks (he's gonna have that job by the end of the year.. you already bet on him--might as well wait it out)
btw I will say that Rex has some good matchups and can put up some good numbers at times. You could potentially get him now and trade him. But I just think longer term, since you have Ben, it makes more sense to go with Eli to have a definite weekly play if Ben goes down
This is only going to be Arian's 2nd game on artificial turf. The first time he ran on that surface, he averaged 6.8 YPC
do i need to look to pick up another QB? my 2 QB's are romo/schaub. play 2 QB's. i'm hoping romo can go, but also miles is going to be out until their bye week, and is dez bryant going to be back this week? i mean even if romo plays its like his weapons are gone, which will bring his numbers down. thoughts? also just wondering who to start this week: WR: (pick 4) AJ Green vs SF Roddy White vs TB Jordy Nelson vs CHI Jeremy Maclin vs NYG Robert Meacham vs HOU Mike Sims-Walker vs BAL my own thinking, again trying to get this down, in terms of thought process. roddy white should play every week, right? maclin should prob go, huge game versus ATL, and NYG looks to be giving up a lot of passing yards i think i heard. though vick might be out. meacham as well, i mean brees has to get the ball to somebody right? so now its down to green, nelson, or sims-walker. should i go green because hes up against the SF? RB: (pick 2) Adrian Peterson vs DET Lesean McCoy vs NYG Darren Sproles vs HOU Tim Hightower vs DAL CJ Spiller vs NE so, going to assume AP and McCoy this week, as with most weeks?
Who should I start at WR? I have Miles Austin but he won't play for a couple of weeks. Lee Evans Eric Decker Jessee Holley I'm leaning towards Decker but any input would be appreciated.
QB - Pick 1 Stafford @MIN Rivers vs. KC I started Rivers week 1 and Stafford week 2. If there's a week for Rivers, this has to be it against the Chiefs, right? RB/WR - Pick 2RB/1WR or 2WR/1RB Benson vs. SF Wells @SEA Starks @CHI Hightower @DAL Williams(TB) vs. ATL Eric Decker @TEN Denarius Moore vs. NYJ KR/PR yards and TDs count in my league, non-PPR.
Rivers Wells Hightower Williams - I know it has been a rough start, but he is the proven commodity against an ATL D that doesn't exactly strike fear into your heart.
Considering dropping Ochocinco for Denarius Moore or David Nelson. Thoughts? Also might drop Vernon Davis for Fred Davis.
Vernon had a very slow start last season too. I'm hoping Alex Smith remembers he has 1 decent weapon in the passing game.
The moment you bury Donald Driver is the moment he rises from the grave and drops a deuce on your face via your fantasy opponent.
