Classless? That guy is a big Gayweather nuts hugger. The guy accused Manny is afraid to fight Gayweather because he is on Ped. Gayweather fanboys is just as bad as Floyd himself. Excuses excuses. I wonder why Gayweather is so friendly with with the USADA Travis Tygart. If Gayweather fanboys is going to make assumption that Manny is on Ped. I can also do the same that Gayweather friendliness with USADA is for him to take PED while keeping his opponents clean.

I'm all over the place man. I mean, I don't think May should have taken those shots. They were deliberately cheap, but so were the headbutts. I'd be pretty pissed if someone was headbutting me. Then again, I wouldn't be all huggy either. Ortiz was deserving of the shots...but that's still a b**** move by May to me. I mean he was probably going to win by the looks of it. I'm really surprised that they allowed it. Even more ammunition for the conspiracy theorists.

Then I go and watch the punches again, and they make me hurt. Worth the money though probably.

Any more excuses to add? Or will you be going into hiding like Floyd?

Mayweather needs the Pacquiao fight way more than the other way around.

Once they retire Pac's legacy will be one of the most exciting and best pound for pound fighters in the history of the sport.

Mayweathers legacy will be definitely a great fighter. No one can deny him that but he will always be remembered as the man who ducked Pacquiao.

Ortiz should have went to his respected corner and wait for instructions after that break/time out/point deduction... Isn't it the Ref job to make them go to their corner after a break??

I will preface this by saying that I am no hardcore boxing fan. I get interested and pay attention to the sports only every few months when an interesting fight comes along and then a week after the fight is over, I move on. I am by no means a boxing expert or historian.

That being said, I've come full circle on this fight. When it initially happened, I thought it was just another black eye on a sport that has already had more than its fair share. Now, though, I'm not so sure that it was a bad thing.

We certainly can't know for sure that Mayweather would have won that fight easily in the later rounds, but it looked that way. If it had played out that way, I think the narrative would be similar to what it had been after some of Mayweather's previous fights: "Ho hum, another Mayweather win, call me when he fights Pacquiao."

Now, that narrative is different. More people are talking about this fight than they ever would have otherwise. Like it or not, these two are heading for a rematch that I imagine will easily eclipse this past fight in PPV buys. We still want him to fight Pacman obviously, but in the meantime, this would make for an interesting rematch.

Yes, the ending to the fight was controversial and somewhat suspect when you look back, but maybe it's just what boxing needs to get back into mainstream sports.

I'm a fan of Pac-Man myself, but it's one thing to give an opinion and other to accuse someone of cheating. Even if you think Mayweather is dodging Pac or vice-versa.... do you realllllly think PBF would go that far? I hate Kobe as much as the next Sacramento King's fan, but I won't go as far as calling him a rapist.

Uhhh... no? Undefeated and Mayweather's always been more impressive technique-wise.

Technique-wise? I guess so if you prefer a defensive fighter who tries to out score/point the oppoent. Then yes, I agree he's better techqniue wise. Also I didn't say it was a fair assessment but it's what the majority of the general public, fans, so called experts, publications, etc, etc feel. Sorry to say most fans and most magazines, publications, boxing analysts, media, etc now claim that Pacman is now the pound for pound best fighter and ranks him number one.

There has been so much controversy around Mayweather on ducking and chickening out of a Pacman fight that if he doesnt actually fight him its going to be the last memory people have of Mayweather. Like it or not its going to be a huge asterik on his record.

oh yeah just to back up my claims above. Not only do most fans feel Pacquiao is the best fighter but so does most major sports publications.

They're obligated to say that since Mayweather's fights have been sparse and he's had periods where he's retired. I don't think they're opinions comparing either fighter's abilities.

Of course PAC is pound for pound #1 lol, he didn't just come out of retirement. In know way I'm saying that money should be number one but u can't be ranked if ur not even competing in the sport. By the way none of those magazines or experts will even say pacman is a sure win in that fight no one knows. What I do know Is floyd was a champion and great boxer well before PAC ever was mannys been great the past 6 yrs but don't discredit what Floyd did the ten yrs prior just because you dont like the man.
