And that still only adds up to 19 pts on the road. You can't ignore the turnovers just because it fits your argument. The Dolphins are a decent team, and to hold them to 13 pts on the road is hardly bad. What are you expecting them to do??

the phins were lucky we didn't stuff it down their throats to win by 17 at the end...
If we could have the results of a "bad defense" like today, I'd take that every week lol

This is a thread that will be able to be talked about as the season progresses. People will start to gather better opinions and thoughts as we get deeper in the season

I will personally kept it alive myself....lol

Don't look at how many points they give up but look at how many yards they let the phins get. Play like this next week, drew brees will eat them alive.

Okay...Henne threw for 153 yards on 12-30 and 1 pick.

The run defense is an issue...needs to get corrected asap. Brees tends to eat up good, bad or avg defenses.

The one clear legitimate gripe, but to the Dolphins credit, that rook RB is legit...

153 yards in the air is nothing. I agree that they let Thomas gash them, but that's not something that Wade Phillips can't fix. And not giving up points is the ultimate goal, isn't it? Forcing turnovers, blocking kicks, and getting to the quarterback for sacks and swatted balls is the mark of a good defense, and the Texans did plenty of that today.

Ugh, it's drew breese he gets 400 on the best defense in the nfl, according to "experts". What this team is doing on the defensive side of the ball should be appreciated. They're applying consistent pressure on the qb. It's incredible what can happen when you have a competent scheme and Coordinator, along with not having to play Okoye.

Remember when we thought moving Mario was a bad idea or Watt wasn't a good idea or hiring Wade was not the right idea? ? ...Looks like many of us had no idea..so far thru 2 games, and yea only thru 2 games, but the #1 defense???

No way we will continue to be #1 on team defensive ranking after 16 reg. season games, but yea top 10 is realistic and what will take us there. .

Watt was one of the best draft picks in team history. Up there with Mario and AJ

It is good to see a few passes knocked down.

And when they did break thru the front 7 (way too often) the DB's made good textbook tackles (Dunta just earned a big fine in the Falcon game)

So, that was nice .... And new
