Not blaming all of the run defense on him, but Demeco is not his old self yet. And that large ass brace on his arm can't help any when he's trying to wrap up for tackles. Glad to see Cush come back after getting dinged up and sit out a few. I just looked at the stats; Cushing even with sitting out for a few plays: 10 solo tackles. Demeco: 1 solo tackle.
Weird to say but I would say Kareem Jackson had the biggest play of the game. Dolphins had some serious momentum and driving but DJax FF changed the momentum completely.
McLane...said Foster had his hammy re-injured which is different then what Kubes said after the game.
Pancakes is what Battle Red Blog calls John McClain lol. And I hate how the national media has taken off with this thing now, and is claiming that Foster re-injured the hamstring. Effing ridiculous how little fact checking actually goes on.
I really wanted to think that he did it on purpose, but after watching the replay it seemed like it was total luck. Luck or not though, I hope he uses it to gain confidence...
I feel better about this game than last week's. When the Dolphins started getting momentum in the second half, I was having flashbacks to all the games they gave away a year ago. If it were last year, they would have rolled over, the defense would have given up a couple of big play touchdowns and there would have been a big pick or fumble as the offense tried too hard to come back. If they show they can consistently keep it together in close games, it will put last year to rest finally and for good.
Kareem Jackson did not start due to disciplinary reasons. He was late to a meeting. Late in coverage and late to meetings.
He played well today. I'm proud of the guy. Atleast when he gets burned now, he is within 20 yards of his guy. His forced fumble was the biggest play of the game.
Of course not. They just don't want to rush him back, and have him re-aggravate it and be forced to miss multiple weeks. Having Tate is a luxury, so why not take advantage of it? Part of the reason why Schaub was getting drilled on some of those blitzes was because Tate wasn't picking up his blocking assignment. Foster is the better running back, plain and simple.
Yeah, I know...I was just jacking with people that gave me grief, I think Foster is good, but he was injury prone in college, and had one good year, too early to put him high on that pedastal of great backs. Foster should get healthy, but the way the NFL works, if Tate stays strong, it would be tough to make that change. DD
