He told the ref to stop it at 40... they reset the clock to that after the timeout.

those field goals are annoying...especially when I have Matt Schaub as my starting QB this week.

Would have loved a TD on that last drive, but I'll take a 13 point lead at the half.

389 yards of offense in the first half. 16-3 lead, I'll take it.

Very pedestrian 1st half for Schaub and the o-line. Sigh.

At least we got our 12th field goal of the game.

I was watching the Raiders/Bills and every commercial seemed to be that JLo ad for the Fiat 500. I must've seen that thing 30 times.

Strong first half, but this game should be closer than it is. The offense NEEDS to get the ball in the end zone when they're in the red zone. These field goals might be good against a team like Miami, but when we play New Orleans next week, we are going to need touchdowns.

We have 219 yards and 360 total between the two teams.

So what is it... should this game be "not as close" because of all the missed red zone opportunities, or "closer" (as you said) because the Texans have gotten the benefit of two missed FG's and a dropped TD pass?

In the end, I think our failures have cancelled out their failures... and its a 13 point halftime game.

Also, the New Orleans game is going to be overall faster on both sides of the ball... this game is more of a slugfest. I think our team is actually more equipped to play in the former (especialy last year), but its nice to see them hanging tough this year in the latter (thanks to the defense).

Too many red zone meltdowns, punch it in! Foster looks like a shadow of his former self, not good. The Dolphins are running at will against our defensive line, not good. But, 16-3, good.

The Patriots were up by 7, so I'll take a 13 point lead going into the have.

Our defense is more fun to watch than our offense right now, never thought I'd say that.

Agreed. I'm tired of him as well, lol. He always seems to be blowing a play.

I was impressed how packed it was last night for the U. Was a rabid atmosphere, and I was expecting something similiar (even if not as good) for today's game.

Guess everybody is still hungover or sunning on South Beach. Miami is actually a much worse sports town than Houston, and pretty bad overall... the city gets so much exposure because of the night-life/image and that people who broadcast games like to go to Miami.

Matt hasn't been great, but the O-line is not pass protecting well at all. It's understandable that Schaub isn't feeling comfortable back there.

An amazing catch by Andre on a risky throw. But wow...looked like he caught the tail end of the ball on his fingertips.
