    As stated in the other thread, he's back down to earth now. Let's see if he can bounce back. No doubt Newton will be a better passer than VY, but how much is to be determined.

    I remember numerous proclaimed Cam Newton a bust and we saw plenty of VY and Russell comparisons.

    Dude is a physical specimen. I thought he would be good but not this good this fast.

    Cam Newton has a serious accuracy problem. Reminds me of someone. He has a ways to go.

    He's finally now making rookie mistakes, but his arm is nothing like VY. Cam has an NFL arm and can make all the throws.

    Agreed on his arm strength, but Cam Newton's accuracy is like VY's. If he shows dedication to his craft during the offseason (unlike VY), that can be improved.

    I said last week his game against the Cards was beginners luck. The combination of defenses figuring him out and the lockout means things will be very tough going forward.

    this is some of the stupidest stuff i've read yet. dudes with accuracy problems don't go 400+ in their first two games. he was playing the superbowl champs you know.
