JMC, want Jason Terry? He's similar enough to Ray Allen. As good offensively (IMO, slightly less efficient but can actually create his own shot).

If you give me butler and perk and I give you mcgee and salmons, id need to take on about 7 mil right? So what if I add bargs to a trade like that and you give me a solid player in return. Could we do something like that?

I agree. I really find Torque rejecting the trade weird. I wouldn't mind but I like the trade for me so I wanted to egg him on.

Trade makes too much sense. I thought for sure everyone would jump on it.

JMC gets a better jelling team.

VBG gets his defensive small forward. Thad can play the 4, Brand can play 5.

Torque gets his post presence to help defenses stay honest against penetration. He gets a legit backup three. Odom>>>>>>>Peja. He gets a good shooter/defender at the 2. He retains a combo of Courtney Lee, Jamal Crawford.

I would have to give up Crawford in that trade - Murphy's contract is for 290k

lol it's cool if he doesn't want to trade Ray. I repect that. Just don't agree with it. He fixes all his problems with this trade. The spacing on that starting unit would just be beautiful.

Crawford and lee would make up for ray allens three point production and give torque the solid bench rotation he needs. He has the best starting lineup but his bench compared to teams that matchup well with his isn't amazing

Dunno why spacing has become such a meme, I guess we can thank wekko for that. I'll still consider the trade, I think you all make great points.

Torque out Ray Allen, DeAndre Jordan, Peja Stojakovic, Crawford or murphy

The thing of it is, I remember after drafting Ray in the 3rd round I had to send a list of my picks to Rowdy because I was heading out for Labor Day weekend. If everything went to plan (meaning my guys weren't taken) my lineup would have been:
    Lowry
    Allen
    James
    Varejao
    Bogut

And now I have that same lineup, except with Chris Paul in for Lowry. So I am reticent to change it all up just because. Of course, I ended up drafting Millsap with my 4th round pick...so it would be coming full circle.

Varejao and bogut will stay under the goal most of the time for rebounds and ever since bogut hurt his elbow I believe he has had a hard time hitting the 15 footer....and varejao all he gets is garbage buckets from cutbacks that would clog the lane and not give lebron and paul room to drive...cleveldand traded for Jamison to space the floor for lebron. Hence millsap can hit a mid range jumper better than varejao I believe giving you better spacing

Haha spacing is pretty important especially if your offense is derived to a large extent from penetration. If you have Varajao and Bogut as your starting 4 and 5, I can see many opposing bigs bothering Lebron.
