He's also the same idiot who said the Colts would beat the Texans. Whatever he says take the opposite.
Seriously, what an roller coaster of a weekend in sports. It went up after the victory for the Horns against the Bruins, then went down after the Cougars trailed 20-7 then came went back up after they came back and won 35-34, then kinda went down after the Gayweather victory. Hope it goes back up after the Texans win 34-17.

Box score shows Henne was only hit 11 times on Monday, we should have that total midway through the 2nd quarter. We should and hopefully will run all over the Phins later today.
11 is kind of a high number. We had 7 hits on Collins. If they try to make Henne throw it 50 times again, we may get up there but if they're more conservative than they were on Monday, I wouldn't bet on it.
The way I look at is, the Pats pass rush is atrocious, it looked like all game until 10 minutes left in the 4th Henne had all day to pass. The Texans last week had to gameplan on the Colts running the hell out of the ball with Collins not being a big threat. Hence not a lot of QB hits. But we know Miami's run game is complete crap and we should be pressing Henne on most plays. I'd be surprised if outside of Miami creating a run game within a week, that we get 8-10 QB hits at the minimum come halftime. (Unless we have 22+ minutes of ball control, putting us up by a few touchdowns :grin
Well i've forced myself to stay up late enough so I can sleep until the games start up again at noon. I was going to hate waking up and still having to wait to get my fill in.
I'm being paid to do this. Third shift weekends during football season are not too bad. I think some here are underrating these Dolphins. Their run game will be decent, and the pass game is pretty good. The defense may be questionable, but they were good last year. Should be a good game. I plan on waking up at noon to one-ish, hitting the gym, then catching the ends of the early games before the Texans start. I love this time of year!
O no, I woke up early....Nooooooooo...actually going to see the young un's soccer game at 10am, then...I'll..be..back. btw, if you ever plan to be a referee, pls. don't if you can't call an even game and can't show unbias...yea, we were threatened (the parents) to be kicked out at yesterday's tournament game after we were frusturatingly vocal at a bad ref for calling unfair fouls...kinda makes you appreciate refs in the NFL that have the spotlight on them if they show bias. . . As far as this game, I feel the phins have no chance due to our superior talent, skill and ability on both sides of the ball 34-13 Texans !
Bill Parcells giving some love to the Texans and Mario on Countdown. Says he will use anybody to make sure Mario does not touch his QB. He has concerns about Texans in a slug out back and forth game though.
Just had an "Are the Texans contenders?" segment on NFL Countdown. Parcells likes us.... that's all I needed to hear.
If they win this week, I'm going to be ten times as nervous against New Orleans. Each week is like a slightly harder test... just waiting to see where the ceiling is.
