Any Nicks owners? I need to decide whether to stick with him or sub in Jordy Nelson or Starks. I'd rather not pick up Hixon. It's a ppr, so Nelson may have more value than Starks unless he gets in the endzone. Would prefer to play Nicks but don't want to end up with a goose egg. Kinda sucks b/c I have Amendola on my bench too, which would be perfect for this situation. Also, Orton or Grossman this week? (Yeah, I drafted P. Manning)
Also, McCoy owners, are you holding on to Ronnie Brown? Is he even going to be a decent option if McCoy goes down? I bet they use that rookie some if that happens; I don't see Brown getting all the work in his current condition.
ronnie is a year removed from surgery, and he was flat out awful last year. what I saw of him in preseason didn't look positive either. I doubt he could shoulder a full load at this point.
I'd ride Orton. Until they bench him for Tebow or even Quinn, I'd roll with him, since he has put up solid numbers over the last few years.
There were at least 2 deep passes to Steve Smith where Cam way under threw him, and the defense was so bad, Steve was able to just wait on the ball to get to him. He faced better defenses in the SEC. I was higher on Cam's passing than most were when he was drafted, but he isn't going to do that every game. Every QB has their struggles as a rookie.
Lynch against the Steelers or McCluster against the Lions? I'm thin enough at RB, and now I have to put one of these guys in for Moreno who has wasted no time getting hurt as usual.
I'd go with McClusters. I think this guy has BIG opportunities each week. Seattle will be playing from behind most games. I don't see lynch being a factor.
I'm not holding Ronnie Brown. There are better handcuffs out there for other RB's who are equally likely to get hurt
Playing Lynch against the steelers is suicide, but even without the matchup disadvantage Mcclusters I think is good for 10 fantasy points at the very least. And Mcclusters can break one at any time.
I've got Nicks on a couple teams and I think he'll play. Of course, it all depends on your roster. If you've got good depth, you might want to not risk it, but sounds like you dont have a lot of options. I second dropping Amendola as well, might be out for a while.
OK, wideout help, pick 2: Dwayne Bowe vs Det Malcolm Floyd vs NE Mike Williams (TB) vs Min Robert Meachem vs Chi My gut tells me to stick with Williams but Floyd is poised to be involved in a shootout with the Pats. Not sure what to think on Bowe
Have some questions: 1) NE DEF vs Chargers or Bears DEF vs Saints 2) Im going to replace Evans as WR#3, should I start Branch or Randall Cobb (return yards and TDs counts) 3) London Fletcher against Arizona or Desmond Bishop against Panthers. 4) I have Fred Jackson (vs Oak), Sproles (vs Chi), and McGahee (vs Cin), im which 2 RBs, should I start, I have MJD at RB#1. Im thinking McGahee, could be good since Moreno is questionable.
Would you trust Brandon Gibson or go with Dexter Mccluster? I have a couple of other options: Jonathan Stewart and Brian Hartline. I like all of these guys for one reason or another, but with Danny Amendola being out and it being Monday night game, I WANT to play Gibson. He could have a huge game, I'm thinking. I also like Hartline for the same reason. Mccluster is the wild card. I serious believe that he is the least risky of the bunch, but I think either hartline or gibson is going to go off. Ideas?
I know this is a dumb question but should I start Frank Gore at Dallas or Cadillac Williams at New York Giants?
