Made a roster and sliders for 2k11 on Xbox 360 to bring a better experience, better tendencies and realistic sliders. Includes 2011 rookie class, updated Free Agents(including AI) and fixed jumpshots, shoes, etc. Makes for a realistic gameplay with the cpu doing less leadpasses, artificial fastbreaks and doing more plays. Good year to be putting all these championship teams on the game. Its gonna suck playing as the Rockets this year against friends/online. Anyone seen a sneak peak of any of the roster ratings? I'm hoping Lowry gets some love and moves up a little. He might be an 80 overall. I think his .376 3P% might be enough to get him there. I really hope they include the patented Kevin Martin fake and foul!!!! Should be any day now for a demo. Only a little over 2 weeks until release.
Probably right. I wonder if Terrance Williams will fall because he didn't get to play. I can't blame Rick for not playing him if his was a team problem, but damn he is a Lebron stopper on 2K11 and by far the most athletic Rocket. You just gotta wonder about Terrance...I like Budinger, but can't help but feel if he got some PT he couldn't be something special...
If you haven't, download "portlandblazers" 92-93 roster... Simply remarkable... I am genuinely not ready for 2K12...
Seeing how they implemented way more attributes/ratings I can't see how the OVR of one-dimensional guys like K-Mart, C-Bud, Scola goes up in 2k12. You guys read the Insights this week, especially My Player, Defense and Post-moves? Have to buy this Oct. 4th, sounds 10x better than 2k11. PS Demo coming out Tuesday.
That rating sounds like you never downloaded the roster update. The final update had him at either 80 or 81 (can't remember which). So his 2k12 rating may be even slightly higher given his play post-ASW
im going to nitpick here, but kinda bugs me the player mug shot for Hakeem was when he was with the Raptors, of course we all know that never existed, so that pic in the game doesn't help our argument
Maybe they use a different in in the legends mode, since in training he's the mentor and actually the old fart he is now. I can't imagine they would the last photo for everyone because that would make a guy like Thorpe seem very old, Kenny bald while in 94 he still had hair etc.
2k confirmed we won't be able to use classic teams for online modes, this really sucks. I didn't play Jordan in 2k11 or any of these legendary teams, because at the end of the day cpu plays sh#tty and playin offline with those teams doesn't get me excited in any way. Really don't understand why 2k doesn't realize the whole community wants to play with their favourite teams and players(Jordan, Bird, Magic, Thomas, Stockalone, Hakeem, Robinson,...) against their friends or other users. There's no explanation or excuse for this.
^^^ because 2ksports know online users will abuse picking jordan's bulls at every chance they get. who in the hell would want to play against the bulls in every online game.
I'm speaking for the whole community at OS, 2kforums, etc. You can argue that it would be unfair in ranked games, but why the hell not in unranked and friendly games? But is it really such an advantage to use Bulls if you choose the Parish-McHale, Bird, Johnson Celtics or Magic Lakers? You tell me it wouldn't be fun to play classic matchups alà Celtics vs. Lakers, Knicks vs. Pistons, Rockets vs. Magic with your friends? This is just not understandable.
Remember how you have players in the background of the menu in games? K-Mart is one of them in 2k12. PS The demo is incredible, this is a huge leap in every aspect. Fluid, realistic animations and tons of new moves, no canned animations.

What do y'all think of the Summit, to me it's a shame they didn't put the Summit sign on the hardwood Also the angle is not as it was in the Summit and the section's are the same as the Rockets arena in nba 2k for the current stadium. Both are highly innacurate! Positive note: Olajuwon's stepback jumper and Maxwell has an icon, look like wings which means he's a great dunker rating of 85+ which probably is because he's really athletic. To me he should be a lockdown defender and I hope he's a streaky 3pt shooter so you can go 0-7 one game and 6-9 the next.
