Don't know if he 'should be' jailed... But at the same time, he's a pathetic excuse for a human so I don't really care if he's locked up for eternity. Just put him down and move on.
But isn't punishment another form of censorship? I don't see how you can have a society that is conducive of free speech that then punishes a person for using it. Furthermore, what this does is set a precedent that a person who speaks and puts out something that a group of people do not like then that group has the right to jail him. It's bull. Can I file a claim that all republicans should be jailed because what they say makes me sick to my stomach? How about just Rick Perry? The notion that he can possibly be president "greatly devastates" me. Seeing as how that doesn't work for me, it shouldn't work for those families either.
I applaud your concern for free speech, but this shouldn't be a free speech argument. He’s not being jailed for what he’s saying, but rather for what he’s doing. When he posted comments on the families Facebook tribute page, he was basically trying to harass grieving family members.
