If I can get him to play maybe 30 mins with bargs playing center for 3 or 4 and hawes for the rest, its not that bad. Say he plays 26 minutes at center, bargs plays 7 and hawes playsthe rest. Its not as bad as you guys make it sound

Doesn't work for me--Harris makes too much money. It's not off by that much, though if you want to just use this as a basis.

Just glancing at this the salaries are way out of wack. RedNation, I respect your decision to keep Wade. It's tough giving up a top 5 player. Having said that, if you were intent on moving him, I seriously doubt you will be presented with a better deal.
Alright say if someone offered you martin and lowry and granger for kidd melo and aflolo. Would you do it? You lost on melo but get a capable sf back. You get minor upgrades at two other positions. Do you do it? Same position I'm in.
I would do that trade from the trading Melo side. Martin is a major upgrade over Afflalo and Lowry is a minor upgrade over Kidd. Granger is a minor downgrade from Melo.
I agree that I probably won't get a better deal. But I don't want to give up the top sg in the game for minor improvements at other positions. Kidd is not that much better than harris and had a bad season last year. Gortat is not a "massive" improvement over camby as some of you say.I don't want to give up wade for spacing. That's what bargs is there for and deng can shoot.
Deng can shoot mid-range jumpers but not 3's. I'd want to break up the Wade/Deng combo somehow even if you don't do this deal.
He shot 35 percent from there. If he can make a little more than one out of three triples he takes, ill take it. This team can run on the break a little too so with their strong d and having decent shooters from the other side, I don't think offense is a problem.
