this trade looks horrible for me. devin harris is a huge downgrade from parker and jefferson is barely anybetter than millsap in general. hes a terrible defensive player that cant space the floor at all for howard.
The thing with my team is, I know I have bad spacing on the perimiter but with bargs and camby I can make that up. Bargs can leak out to the perimiter to provide space for wade and harris to penetrate. Deng is a pretty decent shooter and the only reason his avg was as low as 35 percent was because he shot threes at a higher rate than previous years. My defense can stop almost any team with the exception of bargs. I agree that kidd is better than harris but last season he did pretty poorly with exception to the postseason. Gortat is great but camby is fine with his role. Its tough though since I do upgrade at 3 positions.
Here is my reasoning. Harris and Parker are pretty similar players in style. Though Parker is better, Harris is no slouch and it doesn't change your game plan. You have to give something to get something. I could have given you Bosh but I thought Jefferson fit your team better given you had Howard to cover his defense. Jefferson has a better offensive post game IMO. The thing about Camby is that he only averaged 26 minutes last season and that number will only go down next season. If he is your starting center, you need a capable backup.
So me and thething accept bigman you get bosh who probably is one of the best shooting PF other than dirk and rednation thing is right camby is another year older you need a capable back up to him gortat would be a massive upgrade
But in 26 minutes he gets 2 blocks and 11 rebounds... bargs can play center at times for hickson to come in and hawes can chew up the remaining minutes
Idk about the trade haha. I know its great for all of you guys. I may not get a better deal but I'm still hesitant to trade wade for a minor upgrade at pg and c.
Bargs can play center, but do you want him to? He's quite possibly the worst defensive player in the league. You'll lose while Camby is not in the game, which is about half of the time.
