Egypt in crisis over attack on Israeli embassy in Cairo

How much money goes to the military, and how much of the money goes to each citizen? Do Israelis pay US taxes for Social Security and Medicare? Israel would not be a nation without the US financial and political support. I guess they can thank China too.

Of course the Israelis don't pay US taxes for SS and Medicare. I never said that Israel gives more aid to the US than vice versa. I was only refuting DD's bizarre assertion that the US spends more on a per capita basis on Israel than they do on Americans.

Most of the aid is military aid, to answer your first question last. While I agree that this aid has been critical in the past in maintaining Israel as a nation, I don't think it is necessary now. I don't see Israel disappearing as a nation without the financial and political support of the US (or China).

 

I admire the Israelis a bunch. Hitler tried to wipe the jews off the map, the Persian leadership wished they could. The countries of muslim decent obviously "hat" them. Some liberals hate them due to political landscape reckoning...and they are in their own country standing strong. . .

yea, I know they are sharks business wise (even the women-first hand experience), but they are survivors...why jews aren't extinct in a world of hate is a minor miracle...
