Larry makes amazing catches and has better hands and hops, while it's probably a wash on speed. But Andre is better at YAC and certainly is a more versatile target. He can take a screen and make magic out of it, and no one is better over the middle, possibly ever. Plus, if we're getting REALLY specific, 'Dre is a good blocker too. And he also beat up Finnegan. Which just makes him plain f***ing bada**.

Its like saying you wouldnt trade brady for rodgers considering age.

Tom brady and AJ is the best at his position.

Calvin Johnson and Aaron Rodgers, are the future of their position.

Now I still prefer AJ and brady, in 2 or 3 years, I will pick Rodgers and Calvin.

I've got a serious man crush on AJ.

Dude is such a beast and yet he's so humble. A breath of fresh air from the diva WR like Moss, Owens and Ochocinco who poison locker rooms.

He'll get his dues once the Texans make the playoffs.

My 2nd favorite athlete since Hakeem.

I think Lebron would be a better receiver than all three of those guys.

Andre is a beast. He is big fast and strong, but if it is down to one play and I need a catch I am going to fitz. Megatron is the next AJ.

A lot of people on radio talk shows are now considering Rogers the best player in football, so you don't have to wait 2-3 years for crown him. Brady hasn't won a playoff game in 4-5 years now I believe, since the spygate scandal broke out. And if he doesn't win another playoff game again, in my personal opinion, that spygate scandal has to factor into his legacy.

    Now onto the receivers:
The thing about AJ is that he doesn't score enough TDs. He has not had ONE single season where he has a double digit TD catches, which is very surprising considering his total package. He was like Keyshawn Johnson in his earlier days (not saying Keyshawn is anywhere near AJ in his prime now).

Calvin, with Stafford along with him--and IF Stafford stays healthy, has a chance to go down as one of the best ever. The guy will be a TD-producing machine with Stafford throwing him the ball. I expect him to score at least 15 TDs this year. I think Calvin will take over the #1 spot this year or next. He will just be too scary with a legit star QB throwing him the ball.

Fitz is Fitz. He's going to be top 3 for awhile.

And what is this talk about Jerry Rice? None of these guys will surpass him as the GOAT. Moss was the only one who could have come close, but he blew it.

The thing with AJ is that he isn't the focal point of the offense anymore. He has the "share" the spotlight now with one of the best RB in the league in Arian Foster.

I think if he was the focal point, he'd have way more TD's than Fitz or CJ who are the focal points on offense.

Foster was a rookie last year mind you. And if anything, the Texans O-line is just a beast, that basically anybody can run behind that line (ala the old Denver Broncos O-line).

AJ has had 3 seasons of 100+ receptions (with 1 year of 115, and he never got more than 9 TDs). So I don't think your proposal is the answer.

I'd go with Andre at the moment... followed by Calvin and then Fitz. All 3 are great receivers and are good in their own way.

His NFL peers just voted him the 7th best player in football - you don't think he's been the focal point for 8 years running?

Ten years from now, if he doesn't win a ring, people are going to look at his TDs (assuming he doesn't start dropping 15/year here) and be astounded that he didn't score more. He's targeted way too often not to have more TDs, especially given how good this offense has been. And then when you look at what may be a career W-L below .500... easy for someone who didn't follow him closely (ie all HoF voters not named McClain) to conclude he didn't contribute enough for his teams to win.

AJ and CJ can pretty much do the same thing on the field, but CJ is better in the redzone so I have to go with CJ.

They have been to Superbowls as one of the top 2 players on the team. AJ is Shareef Abdul Rahim at this point(putting flame suit on). Hopefully that changes this year.
