LOL. Don't you think if teams could TELL the bootleg was coming, they would drop every defensive player they HAD into the backfield?? Matt Schaub might be the slowest quarterback in this GALAXY, but he also happens to be one of the best PLAY-ACTION QBs in the league. The beauty of the bootleg is that it catches the DBs looking inside on the run, and by the time they realize the QB still has the ball, the O-line has pulled all the D-linemen to the other side of the field, leaving the DBs to fend for themselves. And when you have a receiver like Andre Johnson, and a tight end like Owen Daniels, it's a losing proposition every time.
Truth. The play action was working for us when we didn't even have a running game. Having a great running attack has only helped us in that area.

Man some of these dolphins fans are in denial. They're sayin stuff like Schaub's no Brady. No S*** nobody is, that's why he's Tom Brady. Schaub is however a very good pro bowl qb who has better weapons surrounding him from what Brady has.
Game won't be shown in Dallas (again). San Diego @ NE will be on there. Its the only media market in Texas that will not be showing the Texans game. Its like they're afraid of exposing the awesomeness to the Cowboys fans in fear of possible backlash. :grin:

they will lose to the dolphins. schaub cant win the bigone. he is an average qb without andre, even with andre i feel he is average. the colts would have won with manning. I could explain in 5 paragraphs why i feel this way but i wont. the preseason i was not impressed. saints-drew was dominating us until that fumble, then he left..in a real game 4 qts the saints win that one 49s -suck, not a real test jets- mark was dominating then left, in a 4 qt game jets win that one colts - no manning, i rest my case, outscored the texans in second half. the colts made adjustments and gary got outcoached in 2nd half as usual the sad thing about this year, is they will sneek into playoffs with a terrible record by default. then gary gets a 5 yr extension and we see 5 more yrs of terrible coaching along with untimely stupid ints by schaub. in my book ,anything less than 10 wins deserves cleaning house and bringing in cowher...playoffs shouldnt be the barometer because every team in this easy division is either rebuilding or injured. gary doesnt deserve credit just because he got lucky manning is injured,. and this 3/4 is nothing..its a 4/3 with bringing old barwin to the line every play. very predictable D. if any team has a halfway good rb or qb they will destroyed our D past the line. I saw this in the preseason with jets and saints. They were running all threw our D all first qt. The texans then win meaningless preseason games and all of you are thinking they are great. Until they beat a very good team in a real game for 4 qts, I will not jump on the bandwagon. The colts didnt count. No manning. In fact, I will go on record that they will not win a single game this year against a good healthy team. they should go 13-3 but with schaubs terrible int's in the big games,and garys lack of halftime adjustments I dont see it.Wade has the additions of reed,watt,barwin,ryans,cushing,manning,joeseph thats why the D looks better,not because of wade. Thats why Schaub did horrible against Baltimore last year. Oh wait. I agree with the 11-5. But I think we atleast win one of the next three. I feel like we will get two.

On texans/phins thread on the miami site and someone said the Phins had "history of completely shutting down Andre Johnson and destroying the Texans pretty much every time, I think its safe to say that both teams will be 1-1 next monday. Then someone kindly reminded him that the Texans have yet to lose a game to Miami (even though they had us the first game of our second season, at home, and still lost) Then he posted the stats showing AJ for the most part was playing like he was guarded by a college freshman walk-on. Yet the response to this is "those stats aren't accurate" lmao
