Jailed huh.....I don't know...that seems like a violation of Free speech, but trolling like that is pathetic.

You're the one who always warned the BBS about the legal ramifications of posting things!

Don't worry though DaDa, no one is planning to use this new precedent to put you away.

He shouldn't be jailed... but anyone that decided to punch him in the face shouldn't be either.

I found it interesting that they said he was diagnosed with Asperger's. The article makes it pretty clear that he was just being a complete prick for no reason, which really isn't what Asperger's is.

I guess he could just be an ******* with Asperger's though.

Give him a choice: the jail sentence or an hour alone in a room with the angry families.

Anti Social Personality disorder is not an unreasonable consideration. I honestly don't know too much about it consisting with Asperger's, but this individual clearly has no concept of empathy or awareness of other human's emotions.

England has more restrictions on freedom of speech and America does. One of those restrictions does happen to be the use of threatening, abusive, or insulting speech.

But you're right in that if this happened in America, the guy probably wouldn't be prosecuted.

I don't know if this falls under that umbrella, but England's libel and slander laws are very, very stern. Way harsher than ours.
