Go with the sure pick and start Clark. The Chargers defense is very good with the pass especially tight ends. Then again it is Brady throwing him the rock but Clark should tear up the Browns secondary. Remember when in doubt, go with your proven players.
It is a 10-team league but yeah I definitely had a good draft. QB: Schaub, Fitzpatrick RB: Turner, Mendenhall, Hillis, Benson, Jacobs, Pieree Thomas WR: Steve Johnson, Lloyd, Henderson, Santana Moss, Bess TE: Witten D/ST: Jets K: Janikowski It is a damn hard choice to choose my RBs but I can see Benson having a better day than Turner just because the Defenses they are playing. Also with Mendenhall playing Seattle and Hillis playing Indy I feel they will each at least get a TD. This league got tons on the line since it is all family and we all talk mad **** so any suggestions would help me take down all of the in-laws.
How exactly is Clark the sure pick when he has Collins throwing to him? Brady tears up everyone good defense or not. Gronk will score a TD. Book it.
Ended up giving up Flacco for Bradshaw. When S. Jackson is healthy, that'll give me Adrian Peterson, Jax and Bradshaw. I think I'll overcome any point loss in Ryan vs Flacco with those 3.
guy in my league dropped jacoby ford to pick up devery henderson, which i think i read in this thread henderson will always tease every fantasy season. should i try to swoop up ford though?
Who are your other WRs? Personally I'd stay away from Oakland receivers unless you are really in need
I like Ford a lot, but you have a lot of high upside WR's. With Green's TD Amendola's injury, Colston's injury, Nelson's productivity, etc....it's hard to cut any of them. I think it'd come down to MSW and Green if you made a move. I think I'd do it for MSW, but it'd be a move that might annoy you later potentially
I guess I worded it wrong. I mean go with the player that's individually a better player. Gron and Hernandez split time against a good pass defense. Clark is a elite tight end playing a ****ty team but has a ****ty qb. I'll still start Clark. PS. I have Clark and Gron too.
Clark did not have good chemistry with Collins at all, and right now it looks like the only person with real value in the Colts passing attack is Reggie Wayne. Against a weaker defense though, it's probably worth taking a flier on Clark to see if he still has starter value. One reason why he was so ineffective in Houston was that the Colts were forced to make him stay back and pass-protect against Houston's relentless front seven, so maybe he'll do better going forward. I don't know what to think of Gronkowski's chances against the Bolts this weekend. He is always a strong upside play, but against a stingy pass defense like the Chargers chances are that it is someone else like Hernandez or Welker that ends up producing.
Lloyd is questionable for Week 2 with a groin injury and did not practice Wednesday. Go with Marshall.
Clark had a decent amount of targets, Collins looked for him early but was very rusty. Clark also had to try and contend with Mario Williams. I see better days ahead for him, but for now I'm moving Aaron Hernandez into my starting TE position.
should I do this trade, it was offered to me: Calvin Johnson for Adrian Peterson I get Peterson and give up Calvin. My other RB is LeSean McCoy and Tolbert. Other WRs are DeSean Jackson, Collie, and Randall Cobb (FA pickup).
