So I have to take a drug test by next monday now I havent smoked or had brownies etc since late april so thats not a big deal but my roommate has been smoking a lot lately in his room. Generally he keeps it well ventilated and has the AC on so all the air inside goes outside and all. There has been once or twice I have smelled weed in my room as some of it has come through the vents - it was a trace nothing really strong. Question is will something like that still show up in my system? Needless to say I would be beyond pisses if thc shows up in my system when I havent even touched the stuff in 5 months+/ anyone know how high the levels need to be for me to test positive? should i go out and get an at home test just to make sure? how accurate are those?
I would say that you are fine, I don't know what the levels of THC it would take to show positive, but it would have to be more than just being in the area of smoke I would think. Based on no scientific knowledge
You should be fine. Detox drinks are bullsh!t. Timing is your key.
Based on a friends research. 99% you should be fine. The second hand smoke isnt anything to worry about. THC does stay in your system anywhere from 3 days - 6 months, each person is different though. Also, each company/testing facility sets a THC (or any other drug threshold) assuming you arent taking one that is for a government employee or operating a motor vehicle, you really should have no problem. Just to be safe, and give you confidence, go to CVS/walgreens and pick up a test for like 20 bucks. They aren't as accurate (and each one tells you the threshold limit). If they take a hair sample, thats a whole different story. Good luck.
Agree about the detox drinks, dont waste your money as they just mask anything and can be detected or at least raise a red flag. However, the same can be said for using the dilution method. It can also raise flags of a diluted test and some companies require a re-test.
i think i should be fine but I am just worried of course we have separate rooms so i havent even been in his room when he has smoked but you never know sometimes with these things and i just want to be safe than sorry. thanks for the info i may just do the aspirin b12 thing to be super safe edit: if that shows up it was diluted i may just do the cvs test and see also how long with hair samples i did smoke and have some cookies myself back in april but that probably was the only time i had anything in the last 16 months would something that far back still show up in high levels in my hair?
You shouldn't really ever have to worry about second hand. Unless you continuously are in a fairly small space with blunts a blaze at all times there just wont be enough in the air for you to inhale and raise the thc level in your body enough to cause a postive. http://www.mar1juana.com/drug-test/detection-time This site has pretty accurate info. When I was on probation a good 5-7 years ago a positive was anything above 25ng/ml for a urine test, not sure if the standards are different for jobs. Not all companies/probation offices use the same drug test and no two people are exactly alike in how their bodies detoxify, but after 3+ months I think you should be fine.

Shave yourself bald (quite frankly, I think you would look fab with a 70's man-perm wig), do a lemonade detox starting now, tons of laxative....a blood transfusion/full cycling may not hurt. I know a guy in East L.A. who can do 4 liters for $250. Ask around for El Grande Maricón, say you need to get pumped full of the good stuff. Someone will know.
you dont need to worry about a thing. you have not smoked since april - your system is totally clean and like someone said, you would have to be spending days in a small, blunted out room w/ people literally blowing it in your face for there to even be a slight chance that it would show up on a test. if you are really concerned just drink as much water as you can until you take the test.
Considering you're probably going to test at "Quest Diagnostics" You'll most likely be fine. Willing to spend $20 to find out? Go to your local CVS and test yourself.
Piss test, you're definitely in the clear. Have you been around your roommate while he's smoking... like sitting in his room while he's blazing & smoke's stagnating in the air? If not, don't worry about the hair test.
YY, Find out if it is a piss test or if it is a hair test. If it is hair, you need to cut your hair really short, as anything you do on any particular day is stored in that days hair growth. So, if you have hair left over from April, those Brownies would show up. Good luck ! DD

i have had my hair cut several times since april i doubt there would be anything lasting from there but i am due for another chop soon maybe i'll just get one tomorrow 90% chance its a urine test and i dont think its a big formality since i told them about my roommate during the interview my new boss actually wants me to start next week if its possible i told him i would love to start but i want to remain professional and give a 2 week notice at my current place. no need to leave any sour tastes in peoples mouths when i leave thanks for the info i am going to just get a 64 ounce cup and drink water all day friday
