A couple of things - Colt's arm strength wasn't very good his first couple of years either. He simply got by with great accuracy. But more importantly, arm strength isn't nearly as important in college as it is in the pros - you get a lot more separation with your receivers, so decision making is really the most important piece. Both Major Applewhite and Colt floated most of their deep passes - but they just had perfect touch on them. I can't say if Case's arm strength is a whole tier below those guys or how Ash compares on the decision making / accuracy aspects, but as a general rule, I'd rather have a weak QB that makes the right choices and can get the ball to go where he wants over the guy with the rocket arm in college.
Why transfer???....He can be a defensive secondary coach in a few years... He has the experience with throwing to them!!!
Fozzy probably has been starting due to injuries to Brown during spring training, along with the fact that Fozzy is a senior while Brown is a freshman. Seems like it was a no-brainer for Mack
He bails out of the pocket at the first sign of pressure, but isn't really fast enough to be a running threat and then throws off balance on the run...pretty easy to scheme against (bring pressure up the middle and have your DE's play contain).
True, if he continues to do that and doesn't grow as a QB, but at least he has still been effective so far. DD

Agreed. If I remember correctly, Charlie Ward didn't exactly have a cannon for an arm, and was quite short in stature. Seemed to work out okay for them (and him).
Charlie Ward had starting NBA point guard level athleticism to go along with his lack of arm-strength....so there's that...
True, he was a pretty good college QB, different kind though, ran a bit more than Case probably will. Doesn't mean that Case can't be a successful college QB, if Gino Torretta can..... DD
