I guess he must have gotten Kahn to re-read his report or done some extra credit.

Lose continually and reap the reward of high draft pickS mix in a good coach and yes, play-offs are attainable. Sustainable? That is one question. The other is rising above the mediocrity of one-and done p/o years.

Finally, can Minny lure any to join the gang? Can OKC? Not players looking for a payday unreapable anywhwere else, but legit pieces to a bigger pie?

I still like the Rox future better if only because of faith in the FO and the City, itself.

There you go again. Like someone already said, they've done a good job of being pathetic to get those high draft picks, none of which is a superstar.

Who is KD on that roster? Who is Westbrook? Comparing them to OKC is craziness.

I disagree, K. Love could very easily be the MVP next season. He was amazingly efficient. If he continues to improve his all around game at a fraction of the pace he has, and gets real minutes, could easily have the best season I've seen in 20 Years. 25 and 16 while shooting the three at 40 percent would be LEGENDARY.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Love? MVP? Look, I love the guy ( though I know from friends he's a douche, but whatever). He and Tolliver are the two guys on the Timberwolves I love. But MVP? I mean......... come the f on, that's ludicrous.

Home depot still might have a better record than Kevin Mchale:rolleyes:

Expect the Timberwolves to have a better record than Daryl Morey's cheaply assembled Rockets

Rockets will make playoffs and wolves won't, FACT!. Rick fans will use excuse to say next year even though they have more talent but can't match the hustle and heart of scola hayes.

Yes, Kevin Love. When was the last time you saw anybody own the boards like he does. He shattered all sorts of rebounding records last season alone. He is a very special player. First off, he gets more Boards than Dwight in much less minutes. I wouldn't be shocked if he was 50/40/90 player that leads the League in Rebounds. The only thing that stopped him from winning it this year is his Team's record. If the Wolves start winning, Love gets multiple MVP's.

And that he's not a creator and is almost as bad a defender as Scola.

Look, Love and Randolph were the only bright spots last season. He's a good player, and I'll defend his All-Star spot like crazy. But MVP? Really? No Wolves fans thinks that. Unless you do relatively well as the leader of an absolute **** cast ( say Kobe in 2006 leading the Lakers to the playoffs with Kwame Brown and Smush Parker), the Wolves have to be a top 8 team for Love to be even considered, and no one thinks we'll jump from 15 wins to 50. That is why Love as an MVP candidate is ridiculous, and that's from a Wolves fan.

    ?

When exactly were Rodman or Ben Wallace even in the running for MVP?

Go look back over the history of MVP award winners. The Wolves would need to have a top 4 record to give a player like Love a shot in the voting.

Fact. Rox did not made the playoffs 2 years in a row same as Wolves.
Fact. Rox just change coach same as wolves.
Fact. Rick is a better coach compare to Kevin.
Fact. Love is an all-star, Rox have none.

We are all rox fans. But you got to admit, Wolves team does look to be better than Rox's team for the next couple seasons as of now.

I'm willing to take a year long posting ban vs. anyone's 6 months that the Rockets have a better record during the season than the Wolves in the upcoming season*.

*If there is a season, even if it is abridged.

that's too easy and not even really fair.

i'm thinking more long term. i am betting that the timberwolves will not outperform the rockets during the next 5 years atleast. pretty much all of ricks tenure. they will remain below the rockets. there will be no excuses for the rick lovers or the morey haters.

FACT: The Wolves won 17 games last year, nearly 30 less than the Rockets.

FACT: None of their supposed superior players can defend.

FACT: Rick Rubio will struggle in the offense ran by Adelman, as it is similar to what he played in Europe.

FACT: Beasley is a terrible stat sheet stuffer that does not win.

FACT: The last time Adelman coached a team this bad he didn't survive two years.

    FACT: Kahn is horrible.

Love and Williams are solid foundations to build around. Ridnour and Webster will flourish with Aldeman. Rubio and Johnson are young prospects they seem willing to invest in and may pay off, Johnson looked good at times and all Rubio has to do is run the team - he doesn't have to worry about scoring.

MOST IMPORTANTLY they have the ability to acquire another star through trades or FA market. If they can one good trade involving Beasley, Randolph plus Pekovic (no one else would want Darko or Miller), then sign a key Free Agent then they will be very competitive under Aldeman.

They can try trade for Kaman with Beasley+Pekovic, or try trade for Hamilton. Even with a lower CBA cap they can acquire a top tier FA, they can make a serious run at Gasol, Nene, Chandler, Jordan or J-Rich, Jamal Crawford and so on. There is PLENTY to look forwad for Minnesota fans.

Aldeman should lobby for replacing Kahn with Pritchard. It all begins with the ending of Kahn.
