I can recall her winning a match over Lindsay Davenport, and Lindsay credited her with playing so well, and then when they asked Serena she never said one thing about her opponent....classless. DD
Yes it is clear how many basketbal players/ artists etc are really suffering from this. Can't we just conclude that it is not about race, but about the personality. Some people always feel like others are out to get them. Serena seems to be that way.
Geez. What a meltdown from Serena yesterday. You've gotta be better that. Did anyone find the post-match interview incredibly weird? It was q
Geez. What a meltdown from Serena yesterday. You've gotta be better that. Did anyone find the post-match interview incredibly weird? It was quite clear she had "selective memory" about what she'd said during the final, but she was so polite/courteous to the point of it just being creepy, lol.
It's exactly why I hate the William sisters, Serena in particular. They just have zero class, glad she lost.
I hadn't seen the entire scene, but... <object width="560" height="345"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PNMSMq9VxV8?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PNMSMq9VxV8?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="345" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> POINT Stosur. I can definitely see how Stosur could have thought it could have been a line judge screaming "OUT!" instead. That shouldn't be argued... much less DURING the match. (EDIT: I instead of "we") "We're in AMERICA, last time I checked. " - Serena during commercial break LOL!!!! Hahahahaha... bwahahahahaha... <object width="420" height="345"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LvFGDjgkS8?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LvFGDjgkS8?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="345" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object> Don't even shake the judge's hands. SORE hand from chasing the long Stosur winners?
I thought it was funny that during one of her sideline gripes at the judge, Serena said something like: "...and I never complain..."
The abuse officials take is absolutely awful. I do not know how chair umpires remain as calm as they do as often as they are verbally abused by the players. They get it in every sport, but its very bad in tennis, especially considering it is supposed to be a gentleman's (or ladies) game.
She is immature. She will come out tomorrow and say her feisty competitiveness got the better of her as if this justifies her behavior. She just can't control her emotions like a 5 yr old throwing a temper tantrum.
