Please tell me someone else just saw and heard Cyndi Lauper mess up the Star- Spangled Banner? It sounded like someone yelled out "Crackhead" from the stands. It was hilarious!
from just her body type to her actual facial features, she is awfully manly. It would be too controversial to bring up, but could this possibly like that olympic runner from Africa who turned out to be born with both reproductive organs. I do think they can live how they want so on, but in a matter of sport, it might not be an equal level playing field. And no this is not a racist or women should look a certain sort of way thing. The WNBA is a good example of different colors, large sizes, etc yet the features and so on you can see and not doubt that they might be something other than women. I don't think she is, but especially after that olympic runner, it wouldn't be a total surprise
So glad that Serena lost. I can't stand her. The way she yelled at the chair umpire was wrong as wrong can be. The chair umpire made a call. It's fine to disagree with that call. But Serena had to make it personal and claim the chair umpire was out to get her, and say that the chair umpire had it out for her. In Serena's mind it wasn't that the chair umpire made a mistake, it was that the chair umpire had it out for her as a person. It's an ugly trait to have.
Serena has turned into a whiny little wench, it was fun seeing her explode yesterday, she got worked. She needs to get back to work, and stop whining so much. DD
Love that Sam won, great for Women's Tennis. Like some suggested, she really is too strong for the girls but you can't really do anything against it. Hope she retires soon.
Whining so much? She's b*tched at the same ump that she felt screwed her over in the past. Other than that it would appear that w/this US Open appearance that she's been working quite diligently as evidenced in her return to a final.
At some point in all walks of life, there are people that feel that way about others in certain positions. I'm guessing Serena felt this was the 2nd time the Ump made a ruling that she construed as unfair and it was too much of a coincidence for her. Obviously we know Serena was wrong for what she said but I have no problem with her. She's still less of a douche than Andy Roddick.
That's a close call. I dislike both her and Roddick so much. Normally when Serena loses she never credits the other player. It's always that something was wrong with her. All of a sudden some injury that wasn't bothering her before was bothering her once she loses. To her credit Serena didn't do that this time. But normally she does.
Serena has that sense of entitlement issue, and a lack of responsibility for her actions. She yelled during the point, it was an obvious attempt by her to intimidate the other player, and she deserved to lose the point because of it. And the things she was saying during the change over, unacceptable, she should be fined quite a lot of $$$. DD
That is what has always bothered me about her. I hate the nobody can beat me attitude. Its true that at her best, nobody is going to beat her, but it shows a lack of respect towards your opponent.
