Armed security, well lit parking area...and I'm not letting just any joker in there. We're gonna pick and choose our customers...by enforcing or not enforcing dress code. Plus...we're not gonna play music that attracts the wrong crowd.
Why should people choose to visit your non-topless club at Sharpstown instead of going to competitors?
Yeah, I won't be coming to your strip club anytime soon. Most of my family members live in that area.
If were estimating an audiovisual system for a small scale establishment the price tag would be over $100,000. Good luck.
I am not hating on you because I don't know or care about you (dont get offended I don't mean that personally...I don't care about anyone I don't know). I just found the name choice ironic. I did not mean that it is ironic just because it is next to the former Sharpstown Mall, I meant that that area is trash and has been for about two decades. Was the rent that much cheaper to compensate for extra security, more limited business due to stigma, pretty much no drive-by awareness? Anyway, good luck.
No skin, cheap drinks and in a bad part of town. Yeah I don't see you getting the type of clientele that you are striving for but good luck anyway.
It's been forever since I've lived in Houston, but when or why did that part of town become dangerous?
Been going downhill for a while but Katrina pretty much tipped it straight over the edge when rival gangs started duking it out. Good luck, ElHit.
Cause I'm gonna be there...that's why. Not only that......I used to be a mother@#$ RED ROWDY. So I would think that you guys would show a fellow Rockets Fan some support. If strip clubs are your kind of thing...of course.
The building used to be a club, the money was spent on renovating, liquor license, permits, and other costs. More money is still to be invested, but for now we're gonna run it like it is.
First of all you obviously don't know anything about this business. 80% of strip clubs in Houston, are in crappy areas. But that doesn't stop people from going there or the club from making money. Look at Showpalace in Pasadena, crappy area...but they're making about $80,000 a month. Michael's is in the Southwest, 3 minutes from Mansion....they make $160,000 a month. It doesn't matter where the club is...IF YOU RUN A GOOD SHOW...PEOPLE WILL COME. You underestimate the power of a sexually oriented business...even if we are just a "bikini bar". Hot women + Cheap drinks + Good business sense = $$$$$$$
There's only 4 butt naked strip clubs in Houston and 3 of them are far as hell. Treasures, Penthouse, Michael's, Colorado, Vegas Men's Club and many more are bikini bars...the city is trying their best to put a stop to these clubs. But we just keep chugging along. And the music we play will dictate our clientele...trust me. We did it at Michael's, Hi-10 Cabaret and Palace...and we'll do it again.
Well, I tell ya what. I would definitely try visiting your club to support you (as I did when Stack24 owned a sports bar downtown). But I'm a 42-yr-old father and my strip bar days are behind me. Thanks for all the Clutchfans love, though. Good luck!
