http://www.lvhilton.com/supercontest Apparently over 500 entries this year. Week 1 Selections: Spoiler Looks like the wise guys favor Buffalo and Pittsburgh. It's good information for people that like to bet. Kind of unsettling that Indy is getting more bets than Houston. But that line is awfully high.
I kept up with this last year, wouldn't mind entering into a contest like this... maybe I'll give it a go next year.
Love the LV Hilton (soon to be named something else) Sportsbook. They have the most variety of wagers. TVs are dated though, but best theater room to watch NCAA Tourney. Nice find...won't play, but will definitely follow.
Always heard more good than bad about Hilton and Hard Rock, but never ventured to either, maybe I'll make a stop in October.
The Hilton (well, whatever it will be named) is good for sporting events and more unusual bets at the giant sports book. It's also good for the $20 trick if you're staying there (awesome suites) and good if you have work related stuff at the convention center. Other than those cases, there's no reason to be at the _____ (I'm guessing Horshoe). Hard Rock is bankrupt and dead on the weekdays. I used to live down the street from it. Awesome weekend summer scene though (a lot of douchebags and douchebaguettes, but great eye candy) and good for holiday weekends. Otherwise, it's a ghost town.
Contestants have sucked so far. Here are the games that have had high differentials in bets against the spread. Majority Winners: KC -6.5, 25 BUF +6.5, 163 NYG -3, 50 WAS +3, 122 Majority Losers: BAL -2.5, 73 PIT +2.5, 152 PHI -4.5, 78 STL +4.5, 145 CLE -6.5, 106 CIN +6.5, 39 JAX -1.5, 31 TEN +1.5, 124 NYJ -4, 127 DAL +4, 70 Push: ARI -7, 88 CAR +7, 36 Still to be determined: NE -7, 132 MIA +7, 60 DEN -3, 93 OAK +3, 45
I use betus.com, there are other sites, lines are usually very close. bodog.com is another popular one They locate overseas for legal reasons.
