I might like Best or Hightower in some weeks over MJD. But this week isn't one of them. And I would never sit Rice personally
who do ya like more as Wr2 in wk 1? Dez Bryant vs Jets or Jeremy Maclin vs Rams qb is Michael Vick. Leaning Bryant since Austin isn't all there and bryant has had more time to practice.
J Mac. St Louis pass D is overrated from playing the sucktacular NFC West, and Eagles have speed to burn in that dome.
My receivers are: Garcon Maclin Knox M.Thomas(JAC) AJ Green I wasn't excited about my WRs to begin with, but now all my WRs have issues. So I think I'll go ahead and try to get a better receiver if I can
thats what im saying but Dezzie dez is like that hot chick you just don't say no to. and no i haven't made up my mind...
Ouch. Hmm. I stand by my original suggestion. Demand a top 10 WR + Schaub for Vick + Scrub (to make it even). If he balks, you'll have to take a real hard look at Vick and what you think he'll do this year before you do that deal. Boldin and Manningham would both start for you, but I'd rather have quality over quantity any day.
Managing a friend's team, who to carry - Louis Murphy or Keller. His TE is Gronkowski. You can put a TE in flex. I think I'm gonna pickup Keller..
I agree you should ask for 1 great WR instead of 2 good WRs, but if he won't budge I'd say you should probably do the deal -- both Boldin and Manningham are better starts than anyone else you have on your roster. I think Manningham in particular is underrated and should have a very nice season.
This seems weird to say, but if the other guy doesn't have a Top 10 WR1, then he may need to involve a 3rd team in the trade to make the switch work. [/fantasy GM]
Do I sit Reggie Wayne? I'm resigned to starting Dallas Clark unless I cut somebody, but I think he could maintain a good value even without Manning. Other options: Lee Evans Sidney Rice A.J. Green Also: Hightower or DeAngelo Williams?
DeAngelo > Hightower... all day every day. You have to start Wayne now, but I get the feeling you'll end up ditching him for Green or Rice by years end.
Call me crazy, but I like Hightower this week. Dallas Clark is probably a good play since shaky QBs tend to rely more on their tight ends, especially against a high pressure defensive front like the Texans.
All you Hightower lovers are killing me. Over DeAngelo? RLY? Dude just got a fat check and has a rookie QB running his team, the Panthers are going to run him into the GROUND this year.
But the Panthers are gonna be terrible and down big and down often. Can they really go the ground game as much as you're saying? Even if they do, I feel like teams will stack the box pretty quickly
I'm very high on Hightower. DeAngelo scares because of Jonathan Stewart (I have both). I had both last year, and Mike Goodson ended up being my best Carolina back. Neither plays a strong D this week, so I do think I will stick with DWill.
I need a flex starter (pick 1): Jonathan Stewart @Ari Mike Williams (sea) @SF Brandon Gibson (Philly) Harry Douglas @Chi Brian Hartline (NE) Heyward-Bey @Den Dexter Mccluster (Buf) Roy Helu (NYG) I'm leaning toward Harry Douglas. I just can't see Douglas handling JJ the job without a fight.
Stewart followed by Williams. Sidney Rice is doubtful, giving Williams more looks. Gibson is playing the team with 3 corners that would be the best corner on nearly every team in the league. I wouldn't even entertain the next 4 guys. Helu could be a decent play, but at best he is Jonathan Stewart light.
