I hope you all are right about the game being a blowout, but I just see it being a close game. Yeah Kerry Collins is washed up, but the Colts still have talent on both sides of the ball. They are pro's and take pride in what they do. As Texans fans, we of all people should know crazy things can happen. I just hope Shaub stays healthy, otherwise will be in the same boat the Colts are in
"yeah, but it's different!!!!" ok, i really do believe it's different and i'm all mother falcon in on the Houston Texans...but i get what it rings hollow. i'm in anyway.
If we still had the same players manning the thing they called "defense", I would be terrified of facing any qb, even Painter! less than 3 days away from kickoff! We so excited!
For the people who have Manning on their fantasy football team....I hear Carson Palmer coming to the rescue!!! hahahaheeheeheeha
the more we sit here and wait the more i feel that the colts defense is going to stand pretty strong...there will have some fire about them. A blowout ibeing automatically expected is appreciated, but not hardly expected.
Besides the fact that we have the leading rusher in the NFL and 2 more than capable backups, my point being that the Colts rely n Manning more than any other team in the NFL relies on one single player..
The next game Andre Johnson gets 10 catches and 100 yards receiving will be his 15th, tying Jerry Rice for most all-time. Game Release Flip Card Injury Report Preliminary roof report: closed Uniform: White Jersey / White Pants ***Liberty Whiteout*** If you are going to the game, the Texans are asking fans to be in their seats by 11:45. There will be a special ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
Andre is like Barry Bonds when he was 30 or younger,...you know it is just a matter of time till he deserves a place in the hall of fame as one of the best at his position. He could almost go in now. What a special WR !
I hope the weather is as awesome Sunday as it has been all week. A roof open game in this weather would be a nice treat.
The thing about Dre is that I fully expect him to be productive into his late 30s. A guy with that kind of talent and work ethic will be pulling 800 yard seasons even when he's collecting social security checks. People keep waiting for him to slow down, they're going to be waiting for a long time.
Because of the dumb 80-50 rule, it has to be 8O degrees or less at the time of kickoff for the roof to be open.
Yup - roof's going to be closed up since the high Sunday will be touching 95-97. Can't bother the AC-only River Oaks folks. Best of luck with that, Texans. Normally about 70% of folks are in their seats by kickoff. No one's leaving their tailgate early for a 9/11 tribute, mean as that sounds.
95 degree day with very little wind in a stadium that has next to no circulation would be absolutely brutal
