You know what, they inserted Matt Cassel in there when Brady went down and they were right in it too but finished 11-5 AND missed the playoffs.

If were talking fantasy football, I like Rodgers better. If you are talking historical greatness then yeah Brady is the man.

And I wouldn't be so quick to put Brady top 5.

There is no way brady is better than Elway, Marino, Peyton, and it is questionable that he is better than Montana or Farve or Young.

He's there, and close. But it isn't a slam dunk.

I don't see why Young is put so far up all the time.

I'm talking about right here, right now.

Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL. Better than Brady.

How are you guys going to pick up Graham but complain about him not getting looks? You already know what system you're getting yourself into. If you went after Graham most likely you were able to wait until most of the other TEs went off the board. I hope nobody thought they were going to sneak a gamebreaking pick that late, in a position that is mainly reliant on scoring TDs, on a team where historically the TE has gotten low targets and usage. And wow does Meachem look like a scrub sometimes. He's Jacoby Jones lite.

But screw the fantasy talk, it's rare we get to see such flawless and efficient execution from a QB just entering his prime. Now that Rodgers is trying out the no-huddle that offense will be a scoring blitzkreig. He had one of the league's best DC's spinning in circles trying to stop him. The only problem I see is that we'll probably see a lot of this boring Starks/Grant duo in the 4th quarters to come.

I love talking fantasy but come on man, you're a real buzz kill with all your one-upper hardcore FFL talk.

Well, to be fair, a little before Moss got to the Patriots he was considered a scrub with the Raiders and then after he left the Patriots he was again considered a scrub. Brady has made Welker, Branch and Moss much better then they've made him.

I'm feeling the Rodgers love and he is going up the QB rankings at a very high pace, but Brady is still number 1. Former league MVP, all time great numbers last season, Rodgers didn't begin to really play elite until the playoffs too. I'll take into consideration that they didn't have Finley or Grant.

    Currently playing:

    1) Brady
    2) Rodgers
    3) Rivers
    4) Brees
    5) Vick

    IMO

Yeah I think I'd take Brees over Rivers. Rivers has had the ultimate safety valve in Gates for his entire career. Brees has consistently beasted with a group of mostly average receivers. Plus Drew has hardware.

    My List is like this
    (Excluding Peyton for now)
    1.) Rodgers
    2.) Brady
    3.) Brees
    4.) Vick
    5.) Rivers
    6.) Roethlisberger
    7.) Ryan
    8.) Schaub
    9.) Romo
    10.) Flacco
    11.) Freeman
12.) Stafford (Might be top 5 soon)
    13.) Bradford
    14.) Eli
    15.) Cutler
    16.) Cassel
    17.) Fitzpatrick
    18.) Kolb
    19.) Orton
    20.) McNabb

I figured I was wearing people thin with it. My bad.

We had some weird picks in my draft too. So it's all gravy.

Even without his TD, Graham had 56 yards, which was easily comparable to Finley across the field there. He was targeted 7 times. Heck, 56 yards a game gets you 800+ yards. True, not quite up to Gates' level, but you don't draft him in the same round, or the next two to four rounds for that matter.

Complete crap. Rodgers has the highest career QB Rating in NFL history. He's been playing at an elite level since he became a starter.

    Yep.

Last year, he had a ridiculous QB rating during the season, and then went god-mode during the playoffs.

I'm with Moes, he is the best QB in the NFL.

    Corrected.

The playoff game they lost in OT to Arizona two years ago still burns me. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong in that game. :( It was one for the ages.

    Got some sports bets up

    Texans -8.5
    Browns -6.5
    Chiefs -5.5
    Eagles -4

If I go 4/4 I make just over a grand, will break even if just the Texans win. Needless to say i'll be stuck to the TV and internet like superglue.

hahaha, I was going to go with the "well they are playing the Bills at home..." but then your username came into play.

That's the one game I had the hardest putting in the wager for, so tomorrow you or I should be pretty happy.
