I wouldn't question the playcall there, if you can't make 1 yard there on a rush then you don't deserve to win the game.
I question it. They just marched 80 yards by throwing the ball and then they ran the ball with a rookie RB on the most important play of the drive. Bad call.
Drafted him in the 7th round (only because I knew he was going to last that long so I had a chance to snag a couple of studs earlier). It's encouraging to confirm that he is a red zone target, which means he is still a worthy starter. But it was exactly to hedge against this type of situation that I drafted Hernandez in round 14. (that's right, he almost went undrafted. I love my chances to win it all this year)
it was not a bad call. They drafted Ingram for that very reason, the packers are just to tough to run up the middle on. The call was correct. If they ran any thing else it would of been the same story from you if they had not made the TD. If you can't run 1 yard, you don't deserve it.
That's another reason it was a bad call. Everyone including you knows that it's tough to run up the middle on the packers, especially in goalline.
Just so everyone else doesn't think we're out of our minds, in 2009, Aaron Rodgers had 30 TDs, 7 INTs, 64.7% completions and his QB rating was 103.2. I'd take him over every QB except, maybe, Peyton Manning. Nobody in the history of the NFL has played the position like Manning has. But since he's out with possibly a career-changing injury, Aaron Rodgers is the man IMO.
You are in a 10 team league? If so, the seventh round is like the 5th round. That is wht I don't like 10 team leagues, everbody gets stars in that league and the waiver wire is filled with good players so the draft is nearly a non-important part of the process. All you really have to do in that draft is find 2 superstars and the rest you can completely whiff on and still win the league with the waiver wire. In my league, it is a 14 team league with 19 rounds. If you don't draft well in that draft you have no chance to win because the waiver wire would help much.
I agree. BJ Raji has been owning you all night long, and you have had pretty much zero success running the ball up the middle. You have ALREADY been stuffed once on a 4th and inches. Why do it again with the game on the line when you have so many weapons in the passing attack? A simple bootleg would have been a better option than that. There were some questionable calls by the Saints in this game. Like going for the zone blitz with two DBs lined up soft against 3 WRs on 3rd and 7. I just looked up and I was like ... huh? It was almost like the Saints were conceding a 1st down so they could avoid getting burned deep.
Lol you must be drunk. As much I love my hall of famers, Dan Fouts never seemed like a winner. River's winning percentage speaks for itself, he's destined to win a superbowl sooner or later like Manning. Injuries and stupid blunders have bailed him out of the Lombardi's grasp, sucks to be in denial. I see more similarity between Air Coryell's/Norvs system.
12 team league. I've been in the league for a couple of years so I know the tendencies of everyone in the league. None of them read scouting reports like I do ... unfortunately the 24 hour news cycle these days makes advance info less of an advantage during the season. But it can be a boon at draft time, so you get to laugh at people when they draft Peyton Manning or reach for Knowshon Moreno in the 3rd round.
Tom Brady can't do the things Aaron Rodgers does every week. Rodgers is far more athletic, makes every throw Tom Brady makes and then some. Rodgers has been lighting people up since his O-line consisted of giant feather pillows mixed with toilet tissue.
Well you got a good value. That doesn't happen in the national higher dollar entry fee draft. In my draft at nffc, which is a national contest, he went 61 pick. And he was going that high in most of these drafts because the owners have more skill. I wonder were Mike Willaims of TB went in your draft. Probably the 7th round. I want to be in your league next year.
So what you're saying is 3922 PY - 28td/11int > 3900 PY - 36td/4int ???? I'm not sure how Rodgers does it better and does even more, unless you think 8 less TD's and 7 more INT's is a good thing
