Go with your gut. All I know is I'd be lmao if you were my opponent and you started Benson in favor of Grant/Hightower.

There's lots of players that are talented and suffer because of the situation they're in. The Bengals have a rookie QB and their team is a mess overall. They will struggle to win more than 3 games this year. This isn't the same Bengals team with Carson Palmer at QB and TO/OCHO to the left and right to open up the running lanes for Benson.

Play Benson and let's see what happens so I can say I told you so! :p

    In my opinion no.

Having the same bye week isn't all that bad. If you were only picking up freeman as a bye week add, I myself wouldn't have drafted him at all.

The reality is that Josh Freeman could have an outstanding year. There was one stat out there talking about how little freeman rushed for tds last year and it was basically saying that they expect the rushing tds to be a lot higher this year based on last year's rushing numbers.

Look at it this way, you have a positional advantage over an opponent who is weak at qb, but give that up for the gains of a bye week. There will be qbs at the bye week that will be more than enough points for you to plug into that spot for 1 week.

My advice to you is wait to make any trades for freeman. His value is likely to skyrocket at some point this year.

I think you should keep Freeman as insurance in case anything happens to Rodgers. Also, this keeps the person you trade Freeman to from benefiting with points that he puts up.

Just pick up a QB from the WW when their bye weeks come. I'm sure you can play someone with a good matchup or there will be someone who surprises and picks it up around their bye week.

Last year I picked up Ryan Fitzpatrick before my QB's bye week. He came out of nowhere and won me a fair amount of games and I ended up keeping him.

    Lance kendricks? Who to drop

i'm not sure if i should snag him. My current TE is Dallas Clark and i would want him as insurance to Clark. The problem is love my bench. Who should i drop?

    Roy Helu

    or

    Jordy Nelson

Love the potential in them but Kendricks appears to be a weapon i could use now. So should I?

I don't know much about Jody Nelson, but I did hear Mathew Berry say that after J-fin and jennings, that he would rather have Jody Nelson. But he went on to say that it is going to be difficult to figure out who among Driver, Jones and Nelson are going to have a good game.

If you want to take your chances than keep Nelson. Helu, I drafted myself under the assumption that he will get the chance to start for Shanahan at some point.

The difference here is that you will most likely have a better indication of the games in which you should start Helu, than you would if you were to start Nelson.

    Hope I've helped.

This is a no brainer trade, right? Or am I missing something?

    I was offered A.Boldin, M.Manningham, and M.Schaub for M.Vick

Beanie Wells just got dumped in my league, so I scooped him up as my 2nd RB over Grant this week. :)

I have no idea why he got waived for Deji Karim (who?), but I'll take him.

I tried to get Bennie as my backup running back in the 5th round of my draft, but he went like 8 spots ahead of me.

Sufficed to say, I like your choice.

Deji Karim is the New York's newest and sexiest handcuff. But really Jacksonville.

I'm so high on Hightower right now I'm going to start him against a depleted Giants D rather than Mike Turner vs a stout Chi-town run D.

The system is right. Fantasy Football is like the stock market. I'm looking at trends and indicators to predict future returns.

That Skins line is awful in pass protection, and Shanahan has turned nobodies into somebodies for years. Hightower is going to get a lot of looks and Shanahan may have lost his mind and turned into an actual red-skin, but he knows Grossman is at least a deep ball threat that will keep the defenses from stacking 8 too often.

Call me crazy, but I think Tim Hightower is going to make a little noise.

Depends. Do your starting WRs suck? Unless Boldin and Manningham represent clear upgrades for you, I wouldn't do it. It doesn't make sense to downgrade at QB just so you can beef up your bench.

Whatever he's on, I'm on it too. Hightower is going to have a pretty good season, and the Skins in general will be better than people give them credit for. Not that I have any of them on my team.

    I am in a 1pt PPR league

I have a lot of RBs and only 2 RB slots

    Pick 2:

    Ray Rice vs Pit
    Jones-Drew vs Ten
    Best @ TB
    Hightower vs NYG
    Tolbert vs Min
    F.Jackson @ KC

Right now I am thinking Rice and MJD but the high PPR part of it also is making me want to start best or hightower in favor of MJD - -thoughts? I also do not want to sit Rice but that week 1 against Pit has me a bit worried he averaged 17 rush and 3 catches against pit last year for a total of 79 yards and 0 tds in the 2 games.

    Play your studs.

Rice and MJD are the two best pass catching backs out of that group too, so it's a no brainer in a PPR league.

Boldin is strictly a bench guy in fantasy, so it comes down to how you feel about Vick and what your receivers look like.

Manningham is a good, but not great #2 WR
Schaub is a lower end but good starter

Vick, if he replicates last year, can explode on anyone, any week and is can almost be considered a two-for-one player since he can put up stud RB numbers in addition to stud QB numbers in the same game. I had him last year and he won several games for me by himself.

The flipside is, I smell a coming down to earth season for him. Defenses started to catch on to him in the second half last year, their O-line is suspect, Vick looked like Atlanta era Vick in the preseason, and he's almost guaranteed to miss a 4 game stretch at some point.

Personally, I feel that studs win fantasy. You've got to have someone bust out for 30+ points each week. The guy pushing the trade probably feels the same way.

    Who are your WRs?

If they suck, you do that deal.

If you won't be starting both Manningham and Boldin, you don't do that deal.

Try to squeeze a slightly better WR out of him than Manningham. You deserve a top 10 WR in that trade. Tell him he can keep Boldin.
