I think we will see a surprisingly close game that will cause many to panic but is likely more indicative of opening game nerves than anything else... 21-17, Texans win.
Run it down their throats. We control the clock, we control the score. 7-24 Texans. Ward and OD have big days. It's only Tuesday... sigh.
Not to mention: promising preseason aside, this defense is not yet fixed. Expect an early season bumpy ride while they work out the kinks. That's why drawing Collins and Henne in weeks 1-2 is such a blessing.
I hope the Texans are not as overly-confident as many of you. If the team is thinking "no payton no problem" we will probably lose. In a season opener everyone is going to be playing balls to the wall all out. If we allow ourselves to relax even a tiny bit, we will lose our edge. I think we will have a rough start but round into form by games end: Texans 27 Colts 21
Well, in their defense, Manning IS a game-changing presence on the field. I wanna beat the Colts as much as anyone, but that doesn't mean Manning isn't an all-time great at the QB position. Closer than folks think, but still a W. Texans - 27 Colts - 17
I hope the Texans come out swinging and take the early lead and then just Run Baby Run!! Texans 31 Colts 9
if the colts score the first 3 points of the game, I hope kubiak does not going into panic mode and abandon the run. Run at them, their probowl ends can't do diddly against the run.
