Good lord I've never even heard of so many of these places.

In general, I just don't like heavy crowds and all the things that go with it(lack of parking, waiting in line, etc.) so I miss a lot of stuff. But the Rodeo is probably the one event I really do want to go to one of these days.

Some of y'all need to get out. I don't think there have been many places I haven't been. With a family and lots of relatives in town, you HAVE TO go to lots of places.

What's with the new RELIANT STADIUM's logo? It looks like some kindergarten kids drew it.
Not getting enough math tutoring gigs? ;)

I don't mean to pick on you, but I'm genuinely curious. What exactly do you do with your time since you seemingly have just a strong distaste for crowds? Unless you're going to a major event (4th of July, Texans game, etc), crowds are typically pretty manageable. I can understand going to places maybe once or twice (I've only been to Cynthia Woods once), but to never have even HEARD of places that are, for most intents and purposes, pretty common locations is kind of bizarre to me. Again, I'm not trying to be antagonistic or anything, and ultimately, whatever your reasoning is is cool.

I've never been to the Holocaust Museum, and I really want to go...I'm actually a little nervous about going, but I still really want to go.

My wife's boss sponsors the museum. It is excellent and you need to go.

    I've never been to:

    The Beer Can House
    Orange Show
    Art Car Parade
    Houston Marathon
    Pearland
    The Ship Channel

I know the parade and marathon are more "events" than places, but I still feel they're must-sees that I haven't ever seen. There are also a few long-standing clubs that I've never been to but have kind of always wanted to:

    Dan Electro's
    Mucky Duck
    Anderson Fair
    Rich's

There's also a couple places that I'd like to go again but can't:

    Astrodome
    Astroworld

These admissions aren't all that incredible if you're not a native Houstonian or are under 25 or so.

Only one I have seen that I think I haven't done or been to is the Orange Show and/or Discovery Green. Oh, I haven't seen a Dynamo game, either. Haven't "been to" the Houston Marathon either, I guess. I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like, though.

    I'm 42 and a native Houstonian.

Never heard of the "Orange Show". On my way to Google now...
