Oh I am not sure how I did not see this movie sooner, purely amazing on so many levels. But I have one question...was Keyser Soze actually turkish? because the whole time he was about as white-american as you can get....was there any clarification on his actual race, or was Turkish just a cover-up for the ghoulish story attached to the legend?
He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone.
Oh, I thought it was a myth, like a spook story that criminal tell their kids, "Rat on your pop and Keyser Soze will get you" but hey nobody ever believes it.
That was the inference I made when they started linking the different pieces of the story to Verbal's immediate environment at the end of the movie.
The story was made up, but there were always rumors of Keyzer Soze. It was Kevin Spacey, he just made up the story to get out of the station. In other news, Luke is Vader's son. Apparently. Seriously though, Lucky Number Slevin is another good one that went under the radar it seems.
Since we are discussing spacey movies.. what about Kpax? was he really an alien? He did solve that math formula, there is no other logical way. Maybe I should watch it again..it's been 8 years.
anybody know if gwyneth paltrow's head in the box at the end of Se7en was her actual head, severed then reattached after the scene, or if it was just a movie prop? thanks in advance.
