    He honestly said..."Monkey God"....

    Really?

Man...people have been arguing about God and who is more right for centuries.

Don't you just wish God/Zeus/Ra would come down and go...."Ehem"......none of you are right....

okay i just wanted to clarify some things i said on a earlier post without thinking. I have never been to a pro-immigration or union rally so I really cant comment on them. What I have seen and heard about it is what I saw on the news or from some other source. I just want all those that make the same comments about the Tea Party rallies and labeling them as racist to realize this also. What you see depicted as a Tea Party rally or what I saw depicted as a pro-immigration rally may not be what the rally or what the people stand for. I made some generalizations and was being a hypocrite on jumping to conclusions based on some pics, videos or articles I saw on the web. Anyways just wanted to point out unless you have actually been to one of your local tea party rallies I really don't think its fair to label a whole bunch of people with different views than you as racists. Vice versa for myself on my earlier post. I cant really comment on something I have not had a first hand experience with.

I've seen this defence brought up several times that the TEA Party has no organization so you can't criticize them as a whole. Rather than a strength to me this is more of a weakness since you have a leadership vacuum where all sorts of people can be considered leaders.

I never said it was a defense or a strength of the Tea Party. I was merely pointing out a fact. Also I wouldn't consider myself part of the Tea Party. I went to one tax day rally last year to talk to a few people. Other than that I follow them online and in the news and share similar views of less taxes, smaller government, fiscal responsibility and promoting personal responsibility. I am not really into the whole politics, blame game and other antics that is going on.

I don't know what the Tea Party will result in. I think what you are seeing is the forming of a party which has several different views on various issues within the movement itself. This is normal you see this in the Democrat and Republican parties also. But a central leader has not emerged. If one will is wait to be seen. I think because of the free press a lot of people are attaching their agenda to the tea party and that includes some of your so called radicals.

lol. The tea party does not know the tea party's policies. That's the point. Couple this with their inability to admit that a good majority of their leaders exhibit racist tendencies will, as I said, inevitably lead to racist policy, should they ever actually have some power.

well that was my point also if they dont know their own policies then you really cant know their policies either. So therefore how can you label policies as racist when they don't exist. Also who are these so called racist leaders? Right now I don't think there is a leader for the Tea Party.

Goddam it SunsFan I never called their policies racist, I said supporting racist leaders would lead to it. Reread my post.

As for racist leaders, THIS HAS BEEN POINTED OUT REPEATEDLY. I cannot help you understand if you refuse to listen. From the horse p*rn racist, to the keynote speaker racist, to the new "libertarian" style racist, to the everyday redneck racist at the tea party rally, it's all over the damn place.

The funny thing is that the tea partiers almost seem proud of it, like they are going out of their way to flaunt it - and yet people still refuse to acknowledge the obvious...

Well if that does not do it for you, then that same man (Tancredo) was in the spotlight not that long ago for saying we should threaten to nuke Mecca as a retaliation for terrorist attacks. If you still do not question the man's character and his core beliefs following such a statement, then you must (at some level) agree or at least sympathize with him.

Tea Party Rep: Obama Is President Because He’s Black

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) -- the tea party star and also tea party embarrassment -- apologized Thursday after he called President Obama "idiotic" earlier in the week.

After an appearance on MSNBC Friday to talk about the comment, Walsh may be apologizing yet again soon.

Host Martin Bashir asked Walsh to explain his past comments that Obama was only elected to the presidency because "he was black, he was historic."

    In response, Walsh doubled-down:

"I think that we elected the president for who he was, a historic figure and made the country feel good to elect him, and we did not vet him, and your profession did not vet him as much as we should."

That guy is a total douche. He's said he's not going to even bother listening to Obama's upcoming jobs speech (how's that for trying to work together to solve problems). His ex-wife is also suing him for over $115,000 in unpaid child support.

not paying child support is bad, but Obama's job speech will not introduce a plan to create jobs, so I wouldn't go. Even if he had a plan, it's not like he has any idea how to create jobs. Obama is not an ideas man.

I think it's difficult to generalize, but from what I have heard from the "leaders" of the TP, there are some very racial undertones.

I don't think that TP members are all the same way, but it wouldn't surprise me at this point.

It's a vicious cycle of putting TP maniacs on Fox News and then pushing it on the uneducated.
