My foundation is cracked. One corner of the house has sunk a little bit because of dry soil. :(

What to do now? How much damage is this going to do to my pocket? Advice needed.

Would love some rain. Although, I welcome the North East winds and the MUCH cooler weather they are bringing.

Looks like a cool front is coming in time for Labor Day. High of 90, low in the upper 50s and a stiff north wind. Sounds nice!

Being so far outside of Houston, we run about 3-5 degrees cooler up here for some scientific reason I can't explain.

I hold a daily vigil through this site:

    :(

current radar is the biggest tease ever...sooooo much rain so close to our east that we're not likely to see a drop of.

Sweet. Temps dropping. Now we can get on to approaching winter when we'll all b**** about the ice and snow that isn't normal for that time of the year and how we can't wait for the summer because those damn Yankees can keep their ice and snow.

I love the winter and I'm always sad when it goes away.
