    no mas/ no mas.

I'm surprised how many teams around the league played their starters for at least qtr, chiefs, packers, cardinals to name a few. Glad it's over.

...based on the size of this thread, I'm guessing I made a wise choice by not watching?

Two major issues I saw from tonight. Defensive depth sucks everywhere but the DL. Offensive line depth sucks. The starters are really good, but let's hope they stay healthy.

4 preseason games in 18 days. You'd think after going through the gauntlet like this, they'd deserve at least one Monday or Sunday nighter.

For some positions that's true, it's all about hitting one gap or two gaps.

    SIZE MATTERS.
But i think some ppl are making too much of it, they were playing alot of their starters and we had some of our 3's playing 2nd string cuz of injuries. Lot of turnovers and mental errors on our part, but i saw what i wanted to see, Bryant Williams will make this team, we are fine at RB, our secondary is solid in depth and young, and we have pretty decent depth at DL and LB (Adibi, Brooks R, Bullman, Jamison, Sharpton etc)

Texans have 2 very good backups in caldwell and butler, but after that it gets dicey...although if the texans lose more than 2 OL starters they are in trouble but then again most teams would be. Last nights OL was so rag tag it was comical.

DL seems "ok". It's hard to set up a good depth chart though since they do have guys that can seemingly play multiple positions. I've seen Jamison and Lewis line up everywhere, and each has looked good at times. Not necessarily a scary bunch but not they made plays on occasion. Bulman is a strict DE backup and despite lack of great size he is serviceable.

obviously they will want to keep Watt and Smith out there as much as possible but I would feel better with one more guy there that i've watched for more than one preseason.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them end up signing a new DL after the cuts go through.

boy it's hard to get to a 53 man roster. Well at least on the offensive side of the ball since i think the defensive side is a bit easier.

I think this year more than any others should be a year we sign a couple or maybe just one Bad ass veteran on defense that gets cut from another team.

At least someone who could brig some mean/nasty attitude now that Pollard is gone.

Andre Johnson apparently believes in this, too.
