as much as i embrace technology and how it has altered the audio-visual landscape, i have fond memories of the 1970's.
I actually have access to that leak thread since I'm a forum member. I never post on the forum though. Most people who post on there seem like **** heads. Quality of discourse on this forum is 100x better, although they do have a little more interesting and diverse topics.

I have had some interest in them...aren't they power pop? Are they similar to Cheap Trick or more like the Ramones or someone else?
They're not really like either of those bands, not as fast or heavy. Have you heard any Badfinger? They're sorta like that. They are considered power pop, one of the earliest of that genre.
Just checked out The-Dream's new (free) album, and I gotta say... a lot of people overlook this guy assuming he's just another generic pop artist, but he makes some pretty damn good songs. His 1977 album is honestly one of my favorites this year.
Hmm. I listened to some oldies r&B as I got ready for work. I am not as passionate music follower as I used to be. I will probably be listening to some good contemporary urban christian music at church Saturday/tomorrow/sabbath. That is good enough for me.
Method of Defiance: Inamorata If you don't know it, you should. I think you'll like it. Ahead of their time, imo. Great (pair of) albums.
Okay, thanks - just bought the mp3 version of both albums off amazon for 9.49 which is a pretty good deal.
British Sea Power - The Decline of British Sea Power M83 - Hurry Up, We're Dreaming Friendly Fires - Friendly Fires
I just checked this guy out, and though I am not hating on him, I do have to say that living in Memphis and being just a stone's throw away from clarksdale, ms. There are probably 20 guys right now in Clarksdale/ Memphis that are as good or better than this guy, with a lot less hype.
Manny you from nashville, aren't you? And you don't know big star and alex chilton? Have you never been to the beale street music festival?
