Seriously. Obama is weak and sucks.

How do you get played so hard Obama? Are you just naive or a total whimp?

So Boehner moves your freaking speak about the number one topic in America to a day when no one will watch because it's the first night of the NFL. Football or Obama? God, are you just stupid, Obama?

Boehner just takes whatever he wants from you, you are the baby, and Boehner is the candy taker.

Most true liberals do, because like I said during the election, Obama is a moderate president, somewhere in the middle of liberal and conservative. It's not surprising that Liberals don't like him.

    Message from Obama:

Today I asked for a joint session of Congress where I will lay out a clear plan to get Americans back to work. Next week, I will deliver the details of the plan and call on lawmakers to pass it.

Whether they will do the job they were elected to do is ultimately up to them.

But both you and I can pressure them to do the right thing. We can send the message that the American people are playing by the rules and meeting their responsibilities -- and it's time for our leaders in Congress to meet theirs.

And we must hold them accountable if they don't.

So I'm asking you to stand with me in calling on Congress to step up and take action on jobs:

No matter how things go in the weeks and months ahead, this will be an important challenge for our organization.

It's been a long time since Congress was focused on what the American people need them to be focused on.

I know that you're frustrated by that. I am, too.

That's why I'm putting forward a set of bipartisan proposals to help grow the economy and create jobs -- that means strengthening our small businesses, giving needed breaks to middle-class families, while taking responsible steps to bring down our deficit.

I'm asking lawmakers to look past short-term politics and take action on that plan. But we've got to do this together.

I will deliver this message to Congress next week, but I'm asking you to stand alongside me today:

    More to come,

    Barack

At this point, I feel like it's really just one big party. They may say different things to their constituents, the results are still the same. Overall, they have the same agenda laid out by interest groups.

Even with the bills passed like regulation of wall street, healthcare, etc., in the end it doesn't even matter because laws that get no funding and no enforcement is still worthless.

Republicans ran the last election cycle on the mantra “where are the jobs”. Seems they’ve completely forgot about that. Not one jobs bill from the republican house majority in almost a year after they promised that jobs would be a priority.

It will be interesting to see what the GOP candidates have to say in the debate on jobs and how Mr. Obama counters the next night.

Jobs might be A priority, but they made it clear that their one true priority is not letting Obama win another term. ONE THING AT A TIME!

you are starting to turn into the boy who cried wolf. in the other wikki thread, judoka called you on posting stuff that we already know.

this isn't your fault i guess, you are riding greenwald's jock as usual, but this story was covered adequately immediately after it happened. if people want to investigate it further, fine, but this was covered by the bbc.

i don't know why greenwald wouldn't research this, two minutes on the internets is all it takes

It may not have been intentional, but by making the speech 30 minutes before the first NFL game, his viewership will be higher than it would have been on Wednesday. The idea that no one will watch because of the NFL is simply false.

I don't support the left wing and I don't support the right wing, because they are both apart of the same dirty bird.
