Holliday is constantly injured, which is funny because he never plays. When he returned punts last season, he found the nearest pile of bodies and ran straight into it. Granted, he was able to run into said bodies faster than anyone else in the league, but that doesn't really help us. He's getting cut.
I was surprised when he wasn't cut yesterday. Maybe the Texans still have hope and are going to put him on IR. No shame in cutting a 7th round pick who can't stay healthy and whose only value is as a return man.
Whatever the opposite of being in the doghouse is, Holliday's in it, and there's plenty of room in there if history says anything about it.
In other news the Texans signed WR Bryant Johnson a former first round "bust" whos had a decent career lol.

I like the fact that we can run the ball down the Colts throat everytime we play them. It allows us to make Freeney and Mathis almost non existent. Then when there tired, bootleg Matt and let Andre run. Jaguars have a bad offense when you can contain MJD. And the Titans will actually be tougher than you would think this year, but their pass defense is poor. I think the Texans should take this division if they play to their ability.
http://old.houstontexans.com/news/PodcastCentral2.asp?AUTO=Y&EID=1490 Kubiak and Bob McNair speak to fans at charity luncheon. Gary sounds pretty passionate and/or drunk about this team we have.
They aren't going to do squat without Chris Johnson, and even if they do ink him in time for the regular season, missing the entire preseason almost guarantees he'll have a slow start and buy himself a nagging hamstring.
Doesn't he have more touchdowns and receptions than any WRs on the team after Johnson? I think that is what I heard on the radio.
He came into the league the same time as Kevin Walter. Walter's first two years in Cincy were basically wasted away bc he was just a filler on the roster at the time. Johnson has started 10 more games than Walter. With that said, Bryant has 308 receptions and 15 TDs. Kevin has 276 receptions and 20 TDs. As far as Jacoby is concerned, he's been in the league for half as long as Johnson, so its harder to make a comparison. Jacoby's TD rate is better and the 51 receptions he had last season is higher than any season Bryant Johnson has had.
True for receptions. Walter has more TD's. Walter didn't become a real option until his 5th year in the league, but over the last 4 seasons, he's been a lot more productive than Bryant Johnson. Likewise, Jacoby had his first good year reception wise last season and had a better individual season than any one Bryant has had, certainly in the last few years.
don't know why a decent career draws so much laughter....unless you have a different definition for the term decent. Yes, he didnt live up to his draft position but that position was more of a reach by the cardinals than anything...Bryant was projected as a 2nd and 3rd rounder by most. And i'd say 8 years in the NFL avging around 40 catches and about 500 yards is decent.
