A coworker of mine is a gun enthusiast and he got me interested in guns a few months ago. I bought a Smith and Wesson Sigma 9mm for my first time gun earlier this year. Spoiler I haven't had much time for it but I really enjoy shooting at the range. I've shot about 200 rounds and it hasn’t jammed on me yet. It has a little bit of recoil to it but not too bad. It’s a great first gun but it’s full size so not ideal for concealed carry. So who else here owns a handgun? Do you guys accessorize with suppressors, compensators, or lasers? What do you guys prefer in terms of brand? It seems that Glock has one of the most efficient designs from what I’ve read. I think that’s what I’m going to get for my next one. Is there a specific model that anyone can recommend for concealed carry? Btw, this is not meant to be a D&D thread about second amendment rights so please start another thread instead of posting here.
I'm also looking to get a handgun. I've seen this "Survival" pack with the 9mm sigma. http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_10051_126607_-1?N=39632023
I have a Ruger P345. It's solid but I'm looking for a .38 for concealed carry. Aren't suppressors illegal?
They are legal to possess in 38 of 50 states including Texas but you have to apply for it through the ATF. Probably more of a hassle then its worth just to be able to use it at the range.
I went to the box and got a ray gun...upgraded it with pack-a-punch...and then got the thunder gun, which i went on to upgrade. got to level 25 on Kino all by myself!!!
12-gauge auto-loader, .45 long slide, with laser sighting, Uzi nine millimeter. Was going to get a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range but gun shop didn't have one. No waiting list for me either.
HK usp compact 45. Love this gun more than anything. I tried Glock and I didn't like the aggressive grip angle. I liked the trigger pull as it is much lighter than my USPC, but I don't like that it doesn't have a safety. I like to carry cocked and locked.
Ruger P90 45mm and I like it. Thought about trading in for something else. I've just replaced the grips with the Hogue brand.
The switchfire Glock 18 would be an awesome toy. Not legal for civillian use though. <iframe width="560" height="345" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yQIT2auqLnY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> My friend saw this at a gun show. They were letting people empty a 33 round magazine for 20 bucks. I'd love to shoot that thing.
I've been checking this one out at the moment.....SIG-Sauer P220. Brought this one home a few weeks ago....Benelli M2 Tactical
