Fox News took the time to answer the OP's question. <object width='320' height='240'><param name='movie' value='http://cloudfront.mediamatters.org/static/flash/pl55.swf'></param><param name='flashvars' value='config=http://mediamatters.org/embed/cfg3?id=201108150031'></param><param name='allowscriptaccess' value='always'></param><param name='allownetworking' value='all'></param><embed src='http://cloudfront.mediamatters.org/static/flash/pl55.swf' type='application/x-shockwave-flash' flashvars='config=http://mediamatters.org/embed/cfg3?id=201108150031' allowscriptaccess='always' allowfullscreen='true' width='320' height='240'></embed></object>
The idiocy of saying that people who make little money should pay their fare share when their entire income doesn't make up 10% of the income of the country is ridiculous. Not only that, they pay higher taxes than the rich, not lower since they pay the same income tax rate as a rich person on each dollar plus payroll taxes. And they also get hit harder by fees and sales taxes as a percentage of their income. These people have no clue. I would call them right wing nuts but they aren't even right wingers, they are just buffoons.

People that make less than $30-$40 thousand in this country shouldn't pay any income tax. People in those brackets feel so entitled because they actually believe they're paying something when it is really so little relative to total US revenue. I don't mind progressive tax that goes up a bit for incomes over a million or 10million. Of course that doesn't mean couples making $250k, which is a much different story.
I was joking about the poll and didn't think anyone would think that WB would be a socialist....so incredible to see people on FOX actually calling him that. This is absolutely mad.
They spend 8% of every dollar they make on sales tax, they support a muti-family value tax rates for County and School taxes including Community College taxes. And, they don't get a mortgage deduction. They would need to make more to pay more.
Answer: Nope, he's just another liberal billionaire tax evader. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/29/warren-buffett-taxes-berkshire-hathaway_n_941099.html
BS. B-H had a longstanding dispute with the IRS on the calculation of the taxes. That is common in the corporate world. And it's not evasion (which is a crime). Once BH and the IRS agree, the proper taxes will be paid. The propagandists must think I'm pretty stupid. I've seen this idea circulating that Buffett is a hypocrite because his tax department is doing its job. Most GOPers with corporate jobs should see through this crap. Are they doing it for the benefit of blue collar conservatives who don't know how corporate taxes go?
They spend X% on taxable goods, so it's a far cry from "every dollar they make". For example, grocery necessities aren't taxed. In some states clothing isn't taxed. Why don't they get a mortgage deduction?

I don't care so much about that. Besides, its unfair for one man to front the bill. If those other rich greedy bastards don't begin paying their dues then I'm all for some liberal extremist group raiding all their homes and destroying their property. The Republicans got smart. There is no pressure on the rich to change their ways, as Faux News and Co. shifted all the blame unto Obama and the Gov't. The average brainwashed Republican pig thinks government programs and expenditure is to blame. What about the Bush tax cuts? Do people really think that not paying for anything will revitalize the economy? The US dollar is inflating exponentially, the unemployment rate has soared. Its no coincidence that this occurrence is linked directly to Bush era policies.
Tax the other rich people, not me. http://www.debt-ceiling.com/2011/07/warren-buffet-sticks-it-to-obama-on.html
