[ps3/360] Madden NFL 2012

Knowing my previous experience with Madden... (buying the game playing for a week and then touching it occasionally over weeks in between) I'm gonna pass.

 

Nah I'm still playing Madden 08 and it's still the same game, save roster updates.

 

Pre-ordered today because the last madden game i played was 03 on the ps2 otherwise i would have just bought 11 right there.. agreed with the person above me

 

I am! I pre-ordered it at Best Buy, I wonder if they are doing the midnight release. I've pretty much worn out the current Madden 10 I own, so I can't wait to start a Texans franchise and trade for Marcel Dareus and Julio Jones. Ben Tate's only a 69 I believe so I'll probably make a move for Mark Ingram as well

 

I pre-ordered it on amazon several months ago for the $20 rebate.

I got an email a few days ago with a "code" to enter to get the all-rookies and all-sophomores teams, but the code doesn't work (it isn't the right number of characters to enter on xbox live's code redemption screen).

 

Been playing it since yesterday. The game is really good this year, 3-1 online with the Texans. Lost the last game in OT, after he kicked a field goal to tie with 1 second on the clock. Anyway worth buying

 

Pre-ordered it at Amazon a few months ago. Hopefully it's as good as NCAA Football 12 was.

Did they send you that code for the rookies/sophomores teams?

 

Xbox. and Yup. Got it a couple of days ago. I think they're supposed to ship out on Monday.

 

How do you enter the code? The one they give you is 16 characters, but the place they tell you to enter it requires 25 characters.

 

I honestly have no clue. I'm thinking it's an in-game code and that Amazon is mistaken. In-game you can enter codes in the online section so that would be my guess. I guess we'll just have to see on Tuesday.

 

I remember when Rookie/Sophomore teams CAME WITH THE GAME and ALL-STAR teams did too..

 

Pre-ordered since early August on Amazon.

I've heard about their "online communities" where you can play all your friends and what not, but has anyone heard of Madden 12 having an online franchise this year?

 

I just picked it up for the PS3 and am trying to download the update but its not moving past 1%, anyone else having this problem?

Do any local stores like gamestop have the trade in thing for Madden this year?
