Lol, the AFC South is not strong enough to have 2 teams win 10+ games. The dude that picked us to finish 2nd with 10 wins is an idiot.
That's probably more realistic than having two teams win 10+ games. The division is weak this year, so 9-7 might get it done.
"No doubt" Foster will be ready for Colts http://www.chron.com/sports/texans/...r-will-be-ready-for-season-opener-2146399.php Like I said I thought Foster looked even more fit and cut, no need to experiment with food Foster, just do what you do...: (from article) "I pretty much know what I've been doing wrong. I think a lot of it was my nutrition. I was cutting out a lot of carbs in my diet, trying to get leaner. Carbs are the first things that go in your muscles when you're burning energy. We've got a little plan together, so, hopefully, it works."
Personally I think too much credit, but the AFC South has the potential to surprise. JAX and TEN are both tough teams that battlefight. Either one could jump up and be good this year. JAX for example, I could seem them being stout this year and getting to 9 wins.
I'm not so sure its "love". Its more of a result of the AFC South sucking in general at the moment. A team that can play just above mediocre football should be able to win it. I think everyone knows that the Titans and Jags are complete messes right now and really have no shot, so its basically a 50/50 shot with a team that relies more on a single (hurt) player than any team in the NFL. The Texans just happen to be in fantastic circumstances this season and really dont have an excuse to not win the division.
oh, I'm with you; in fact I'm not sipping any kool-aid until week 7. and, I'm not buying all the way in until week 13 is here and we are not 5-and-7. until then, I remain cautiously and skeptically optimistic. but honestly, despite rhino17's excellent point just above, have that many talking heads *ever* picked our Texans to take the division outright? I'll believe it when I see it.
Prediction: Molden plays on a couple practice squads, then comes into his own for the Green Bay Packers just as they put together their first SuperBowl run since 2010. Texans fans fall in faint.
just after everyone else b****es at the texans for releasing him, forgetting about how much they made fun of him.
Of course we are going to have a big year...I cant comprehend the hesitation to go all-in. We were in the game until the final moments against the Ravens, Jets, Chargers and Eagles with one of the worst defenses in NFL history. And we lost in fluke manner to a hail mary against the Jags. Sure, we could have easily lost the Redskins game. But, an average defense would have given the Texans 3-4 additional wins last year. Our defense will be better than average this season. And our schedule isnt nearly as brutal as last season...not to mention our division opponents have become less competitive. This is the year. Its time to push in the chips and go for it, go big or go home.
I feel like a woman married to a cheating man. Sure, i know he's led me astray before and broke my heart, but he keeps coming back with just enough to take them back. Then spoils and teases me with flashes of brilliance...only deep in the back of my head, i know he's a b*stard and know my heart will be broken again. I can't quit you Texans.
Reminds me of the Oilers circa Warren Moon era; so much hype so much disappointment (granted those teams made the playoffs).
That's why they're just fans, unlike coaches getting paid millions of dollars... who should be able to recognize potential and bring it to fruition.
