They're paid to elicit this very response. You have to really seek out journalists that have any degree of integrity and/or skillset when it comes to evaluating team sports. They are few and far between, unfortunately.

Lol, Painter might be one of the worst back up QBs in the NFL. He's terrible and if Peyton is sitting out week 1, I expect a 30 point victory.

Blackistone sounds like he's constantly whining about everything I can't stand that guy

Hopefully Jim Caldwell out-Kubiak's himself and actually thinks this.

If Painter is a serviceable backup, then why did the Colts sign 71-year-old Kerry Collins?

Not just that, but they signed him to a 14 million/2-year contract

Our backup RB's are 10X better than their backup QB's. And on top of that, our passing game is still strong while Indy's running game has been one of the worst in the league for a few years now.

As far as a one game situation, I'd gladly hold out Foster if it meant they had to pull Peyton as well.

I'm more upset that we waved Brett "the hitman" Hartman.

Seriously, I didn't realize Jean was hurt. Is he done for the season? What is the injury? I've been wondering what happened to him.

I am not. The fact that he couldn't beat out the worst punter in the NFL (statistically) proved that his youtube fame was undeserving.

He had 1 or 2 nice kickoffs, but that was it. His punting stunk.

I guess that means Jean is liked by the org. Hartman was garbage.

Prolly from one of those Chinese websites.

I want them to keep all of our running backs. It will be interesting to see if they keep Slaton.

I was optimistic that we might finally invest a little in a punter when we decided to not bring Turk back. No such luck.

Dang all the late addition WRs are the first ones to stick. I was hoping Maehl or Tolliver would shine, but at least they're not yet cut. I'm glad I got an Andre jersey one of the few times a year it didn't say A.Johnson on the back.

Who else should be going? Tolliver and Q. Demps are next I think. They've got some decisions to make regarding CBs. Jason Allen has played too hard, Roc and Harris are too new, so we're gonna have 7 cbs unless mcmannis or mccain are let go.
