even with Rocketsred being so bad defensively, they're even worse on offense. I guess I can only rely on the average rockets fan on here to not be braindead and see that.

Why do you keep calling everyone braindead and pathetic? Your team is losing by 20 votes, you think you're the only one who sees the light?

Great man defenders does not make up a great team defense.

A great team defense REQUIRES a strong interior defense (look at every top defensive team in the league) and quite frankly, you do not have that. Just look at the top 10 defensive teams in the league. Several of them have poor defensive players in their rotations.

son, you do realize, if I lose by 100 votes, and you lose by 3, you still don't get any further than I do.

And McGee's defensive rating of 106 is good?

Well McGee is a great help defender/shotblocker. Maybe he isn't a great anchor but he has much more potential to be than Frye (who is considered to be horrible) and Hickson (who is just a ****ty basketball player overall).

Defensive Rating is a flawed stat imo. It really hurts players who are on fact paced teams.

I really do like your your 1 through 3. I think you should have drafted a defensive center instead of Frye personally

I can't argue that reasoning, but the average fan on here (correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am) Don't know who Hickson is or Belinelli, or Bledsoe, let alone seen them play enough to get a grasp on how good/bad they are. So I simply go by the numbers that they're given.

Just an example and I know it doesn't mean overall productivity. But would the average fan know that Channing Frye averaged more blocks than Garnett did last year? (1.0 - 0.8) Channing mother loving Frye blocked more shots than Kevin Garnett last year.

I couldn't even honestly say who was still available when I took that pick, but there probably should have been a better option there.

Maybe if they don't know who they are, you should have picked known plyers:confused:

Who are your go to guys? I've got pierce and Bogut who can draw double teams and every player on my team can score the ball. I can run the pick with Udrih and Patterson/favors who can shoot the mid range j or have belinelli/pierce on the outside to shoot the 3 with Bogut for the offensive rebound since he has got the size advantage. My bench players are also deadly scorers jamal Crawford who is a 6th man of the year champion and he can create his own shot and he thrives on bench players. Reggie miller can come off the bench to help add to the 3 point scoring threat (he shot about 42% from 3 for golden state last season)

Defense is my real concern. My interior defense is good enough to defend go get by frye, hickson, and Davis. As you said Bogut had a defensive rating of 97 and can dominate frye and for this specific match up I would put favors against hickson and Patterson against Davis. Pierce can handle himself on both ends of the floor, brewer isn't really an offensive threat so Belinelli can at least stay in front of him I have no problem with that. Imo the only real scoring you would get is from Ellis and holiday.

Bogut only put up 13 a game last year, the Bucks weren't flush with scorers last year, even with that fact, Bogut was not a person they went to to score. That leaves you Pierce and Pierce alone to generate offense.

And you have Ellis and Ellis only. I'd rather have pierce who is more clutch and smarter than ellis.

Sorry greenhippos I had to vote for you. Even with ellis offense will be pretty hard to come by. And even defensively it's not exactly what I would call elite.

Well that's because you're not informed enough on the players on my team. I can understand your reasoning based on your lack of information.
