have long thought the 24/7 series was right near the top of best show on tv, but wow did last night's blow up between son and father take it to the next level. anybody watch? the most intense/depressing 5-7 minutes of tv i've seen in several years.
That was pretty awesome seeing them get into it. 24/7 is such a well done show, just like practically everything else HBO puts out.
Money's the best defensive fighter in the game, hands down, but he's such a flamboyant, self-centered SOB that it's hard to root for the guy. That being said, he's the KING of 24/7. Ortiz is an absolute warrior both in and out of the ring (his background story was jaw-dropping), but I don't think he stands a chance. The Roger-Mayweather Sr-Money situation is extremely awkward and tense... the last 5 min last night were hilarious, but damn, Money was cutting his pops deep.
Seen this last night too. What a F***'ng douche bag for calling his dad out like that in front of other Mother F***er's who's only there to drain his money. By the end of his career, he'll be the one with two tribal tattoo marks on his eye <iframe width="420" height="345" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8Fot_VD1kGQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<iframe width="420" height="345" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/I9I2bD5WHyQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> It was pathetic on both sides. The father that wasn't there most of his son's life and the son with zero respect for his father. It's been the same for most Mayweather 24/7's. I'm tired of Floyd and his antics, refuse to pay for the fight and won't bother watching the 24/7.(But I did find this clip).
I think he just puts on that persona for show. He always says that there's always got to be the bad guy. There're videos out there where he's pretty class. He's also cried on camera when he's talking about his dad.
agree (as i stated in my original post). sometimes in docu-reality shows like this, it's hard to decipher what is real, and what is played-up for the camera. pretty easy to see how authentic that was.
I blame his dad here. How many times does he have to mention that he trained Floyd how to fight? Ok we get it. But that was a long time ago. He got locked up made floyd have to find a new trainer and he continued to win. I think Floyd feels like his dad is discrediting him. Roger handled it well.
Just watched it. Floyd's fiance is HOT. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fr98tUNpm0c?#t=3m00s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Why'd she not kiss him when he asked, though?
Damn! Agreed. I hope she knows what to expect if she ever decides to mess around with CJ Watson though.
