I'm actually entertaining sitting Foster for the Colts game. Of course that depends on if Manning starts but hell. Arian needs to get this thing fully healed.
Agreed, I'm all for Arian getting his 1900 yards rushing, but it might be best for him and the team. . .
I don't know if it's that or Kubes doesn't want starters returning kicks/punts (similar to how he didn't regularly use Jacoby on returns beginning of last season). I understand not wanting to get starters hurt on special teams - especially during the preseason - but if Manning's not used in the regular season, I will be second guessing Kubiak again.
donkey magic, thanks for the foster update. I hope 2 weeks is enough to recover, maybe with a magic injection he won't be bothered by this throughout the entire season. Count me in on wanting him to sit game one. EMjohn, I'm not sure about nfl star kareem Jackson. He is still a step behing when it's a quick throw. The more than awesome pass rush is hiding everything else. I like nolan being the safety on nickel situations. Haven't heard much on harris..must be a good thing?
Straight domination today by the defense. And 30 unanswered points. Awesome. I don't remember the last time I saw a Texans pick six.
I don't think Gore or Davis were playing. That's their biggest play-makers. I don't even recall seeing Crabtree out there Kareem Jackson had a pick 6 in the pre-season last season. I remember Pollard having one or two also.. I've been saying for a while now that Kareem isn't that bad. I believe we'll see him transform into an adequate corner this season.
There you go. Their best RB, WR, and TE were out. It still doesn't change the fact that we dominated their offensive line. Mario is looking better by the week. Barwin does too.
To those wondering, kubiak said after practice earlier this week that manning will return kicks. Just keeping him healthy right now.
