hmm..I cringed last week when foster started. He's your best running back just let him run on the track. But I guess if he was going to get hurt, he was going to get hurt.
Really like how the defense gets after the qb, cannot say it enough. And what is this novelty of putting your hands up and knocking the ball down if you can't get to the QB?
    =)

any updates on foster? this bob allen is useless.

Has Manning returned a kick in preseason?

I haven't been paying much attention this preseason but what started all the Ward hate? Is it just Tate's 1 good game?

Sounds like a good problem to have. If Tate beats him out, great. If not, still pretty good.

James Casey with two holding penalties and one block in the back in penatly so far today. Not a good game. Where is Lawrence Vickers?

Still an unknown, and I doubt we'll know until the days before the game. On another note, Robert Mathis left their game early yesterday with an injured hamstring I'm wondering if there's a chance he will be out as well

Who are the players to watch on the 2nd half units, besides Tate?

definitely brooks. Wr Dickerson as well, i'm a fan of his. The DT Jamison has also made a few plays this preseason.

    Anyone in the secondary.

One more reason to go into the season with a 3 headed monster. Limit Foster's carries, let him nurse the hamstring so that it doesn't nag him all year. Let the Ward/Tate competition carry on a few more weeks before making the call. (Tate better win)

It drove me a little nuts that Kubiak was so resistant to plugging in Nolan for Wilson last year. Out and out ballhawk, needs to be out there and learn a little more.

Mario looking much more effective and comfortable this week. Somewhat surprised he didn't get more reps, but I'm always happy to see Reed line up.

Watt is sensational. I didn't get the pick (wrongly assumed Smith and Williams were our starting ends)...but man has he won the entire city over. He could be an even bigger breakout rookie than Cush was. He's out there looking like Suh.

Should be said....dare I say it....Kareem Jackson seems to be holding his own.

Just fantastic to see the entire culture of this defense undergo such a complete makeover. I'm honestly more excited to see them take the field than the offense right now, which is insane.

it's such an incredibly asset to have your FB be able to run effective pass routes. Casey is going to drive some D coordinators nuts
