Throwing up does wonders. I was doing that a lot last weekend. Keep coughing until that crap comes out.
I am starting to hit hangovers pretty hard these days. The most effective I can say is prevention. Clear Liquors without the sugary bonus flavors. Try to keep mixing with other alcohols down. I drink a water and Gatorade as well as taking a multi-vitamin before going to bed as well as when I wake up. Exercise ASAP. Greasy food.

The one thing that I've seen is full proof is working out (preferably something where you will sweat a lot) while making sure to drink a lot of water. The first half hour or so is going to be awful but after that you will feel great. I found this out once when I ran a 7 mile road race. The tradition of how the race started was two guys were drinking in a bar and one bar bet he could beat the other guy in a race to a bar in the next town. Since then there is an unwritten tradition to drink before the race. The morning of the race I was very very hung over, ran the first mile at about a 13 minute pace but hit every single water station and sprinted the last half mile. Since then its worked everytime I've been hung over and everyone that I know who has tried as said it works for them, provided they can get past the initial pain when you start working out.
